Description
In our 70 sqm apartment in a quiet location you can relax and unwind wonderfully. We offer a cozy and comfortably furnished non-smoking apartment for your professional stay or for your family vacation. The apartment consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a sofa bed (1.4 m x 2.0 m) and a sleeping chair, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with an accessible shower. The space The house is located just outside the Hanseatic city of Korbach in the district of Goldhausen (URL HIDDEN) on the slope of the 562 m high Eisenberg. The Eisenberg is Germany's largest gold deposit and still contains 1.2 tons of gold. A hike on the Goldlehrpfad [Gold educational trail] or a visit to the Goldbergwerk [Gold mine] is recommended here. The 24 m high Georg Viktor Tower built on the Eisenberg allows an impressive panoramic view over the mountains of the Sauerland, up to the Kellerwald, Burgwald or the Sauerland in neighboring North Rhine-Westphalia. Goldhausen is an ideal starting point for many holiday and vacation attractions in the Waldeck region and the adjacent Sauerland. The three nearby lakes (Edersee, Twistesee and Diemelsee), the Kellerwald National Park and the attractive winter sports resorts of Willingen and Winterberg are particularly suitable for activities. The many well-developed cycling and hiking trails also offer sufficient space for sporting activities in the open air. On request, we provide you with a storage room, for example for bicycles or winter sports equipment. We also recommend a visit to the half-timbered old town of Korbach with its well-preserved medieval city wall and the local history museum as well as a visit to the "Korbacher Spalte". The Korbacher Spalte is a 20-meter-deep and several-meter-wide, filled column in the limestone of a former quarry on the southern edge of Korbach, which is considered an important fossil deposit.
