We're a small family of three running The Sunflower Homes with lots of love and care. Before booking, please remember that this is a homestay, not a hotel. This is also our family home, and we truly enjoy welcoming guests from around the world. We hope you'll enjoy the peaceful mountain lifestyle and help us keep this place special. ⏰ Check-in & Check-out Check-in: After 1:00 PM Check-out: By 11:00 AM Early check-in is possible only if the room is available. Late check-out charges: Up to 30 minutes: Complimentary Up to 1 hour: ₹500 Up to 2 hours: ₹1,000 More than 2 hours may be charged as an additional night's stay (subject to availability). 🌙 Quiet Hours To respect everyone staying with us and our neighbors, please keep noise to a minimum between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. 🚭 Smoking Smoking inside the room is strictly discouraged, as most of our interiors are made of wood. If you smoke: Please use the balcony or outdoor areas. Ask us for an ashtray. Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground. Please dispose of them properly in the dustbin after use. 🌍 Help Us Protect the Himalayas Living in a remote Himalayan village means waste disposal is challenging. We kindly request that you: Separate wet and dry waste. Keep glass bottles, cans, and other recyclables separate. We can dispose of biodegradable (wet) waste, but we request guests to take back or responsibly dispose of dry waste whenever possible. Please take used diapers, sanitary pads, and other sanitary waste with you for proper disposal. Every small effort helps protect these beautiful mountains. ⚡ Electricity & Power Backup As we're located in the remote Himalayas, occasional electricity interruptions may occur due to heavy snowfall, rainfall, strong winds, or maintenance work. Most outages are restored within 10–30 minutes. For longer outages, we have power backup that keeps essential amenities running, including: Lights Wi-Fi Charging points Laptop & phone charging Please note that heavy appliances cannot be used during backup power. 🪵 Property Care Please treat our home with the same care and respect as you would your own. Any damage to furniture, décor, or the room may result in repair or replacement charges. 🔥 Heating (Optional) Room Heater: ₹500 per day (Available during approved hours. Use after 11:00 PM is not permitted for safety.) Electric Blanket: ₹600 per stay 👶 Extra Guest Charges 0–4 years: Free 5–12 years: ₹600 per night 13 years & above: Charged as an adult (₹1,000 per night) 🐾 Pets Welcome Pet Fee: Small dogs & cats: ₹300/night Large dogs: ₹600/night If you're travelling with pets, please: Bring your pet's own bedding or blanket. Clean up after your pet at all times. Prevent pets from getting on beds and sofas whenever possible. Excessive pet hair requiring additional cleaning may incur cleaning charges. Please ensure your pet does not disturb other guests. 🍽️ Food We prepare fresh homemade meals in our family kitchen. Please note: Our menu depends on ingredient availability. Since we cook everything fresh ourselves, only a limited number of dishes can be prepared at one time. We serve the same wholesome food that we enjoy with our own family. Meal Timings Breakfast 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Last order: 10:00 AM Please place your breakfast order the previous evening.
