The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a welcoming space to relax and enjoy precious time with family and friends. Everything has been provided for your comfort. The space Spring Cottage is an extensively and lovingly restored Cotswold Stone property that has all the modern conveniences of a new home whilst still having all the charm and character of a Cotswold Cottage. Beautifully decorated in a modern, comfortable, bright cottage style and fully equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing holiday. Off road parking for 2 cars at the front of the cottage. The cottage has an EV charge point - additional charges apply. Double French Patio Doors lead from the lounge onto a private south facing, beautifully paved patio area with hardwood garden table, chairs and parasol (seats 6) plus bench where you can sit and listen to the church bells and birdsong. Cotwold gravelled garden with well stocked, pretty raised flower beds. The property is extensively cleaned before guests arrive. 100% cotton bed linen, fluffy white towels and tea towels are provided (except cot linen and blankets). Mid stay cleaning service is available for 2 week or more bookings including fresh bedlinen and towels. Guest access Guests have access to the whole cottage and garden during their stay. The cottage has direct access, via a locked gate at the end of the garden to a large playing field and park. This is a lovely place for children to enjoy a ball game, play on the swings or slide etc and for dogs to enjoy a run. Other things to note The cottage is within a very short walking distance of all the village facilities. Bourton-on-the-Water village has a zoological birdpark, model village, model railway, motor museum, perfumery workshop, pottery, swimming pool, maze and a good range of specialist shops. The cottage is perfectly situated for visiting the most beautiful villages and towns of the Cotswold area. It is within easy distance of the picturesque Upper and Lower Slaughters, Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh, Broadway, Chipping Campden, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Northleach, Winchombe, Snowshill, Burford, Tetbury, Bibury and Painswick. It is an hour drive or train journey away from the historic cities of Bath and Oxford, and forty-five minutes drive from the Shakespearian gem of Stratford.
