The space Welcome to a Hudson Riverfront retreat where history, design, and nature come together. Built in 1860 and thoughtfully renovated, this home blends original character with modern comfort, featuring preserved wide-plank floors, curated details, and warm, inviting spaces throughout. Every room in the home offers views of the Hudson River, creating a constant connection to the water and changing light throughout the day. The main living area is bright and open, with comfortable seating, thoughtful decor, and a modern electric fireplace that brings a cozy ambiance. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a gas stove and oven, and a fresh coffee setup with beans provided and a grinder for a perfect morning start. The home includes a unique attic space overlooking the river — ideal for working, meditating, or simply unwinding. (Please note: the attic is not used for sleeping.) The primary bedroom features direct access to a private porch with two hanging egg chairs — a perfect spot to enjoy coffee while taking in the river views. A second outdoor living porch offers a beautiful setting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, where you can watch the Hudson River’s rare two-directional tidal flow and passing wildlife. The exterior is softly lit in the evenings, with a charming shed and a peaceful setting framed by the mountain behind the home and the river in front. The home is powered by solar energy, adding a thoughtful sustainability element to your stay. Located just minutes from Marist College, the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), Vassar College, SUNY New Paltz, Kingston, and Beacon. The home is ideally situated for exploring the Hudson Valley — from wineries and hiking to river activities and local dining. It is also directly across from the Marist Boathouse and near the Walkway Over the Hudson, making it an excellent location for regattas, local attractions, and riverfront activities. The porches provide beautiful views of seasonal activity along the Hudson River throughout the year. A sound system is available on both the first and second floors so you can enjoy your own music throughout the home. For added safety, exterior security cameras are installed at the garage, side of the home, and rear entrance. No cameras are located inside the home. Guest access Guests have access to all living areas, bedrooms, kitchen, attic relaxation space, and outdoor porches. There is no need to access the basement, and a private closet in the bedroom will remain locked for owner storage. For your convenience, a full cabinet with hangers is available in the master bedroom, and there is also a closet available in the smaller bedroom with the two queen beds. Everything else in the home is fully accessible for your stay. ***Important Parking Information*** Guest parking is limited to one vehicle only. The approved guest parking space is inside the garage under the Town of Lloyd STR permit. The garage opening is approximately 91 inches wide and 81 inches high and can fit up to 17feet long car. Please verify your vehicle will safely fit before booking. No street parking, additional guest vehicles, or parking in front of neighboring properties is permitted. This home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Guests should expect a peaceful environment and are expected to respect neighboring properties and Town quiet-hour regulations: o 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM on weekdays o 8:00 PM to 9:00 AM on Sundays and holidays All homes along the Hudson River share proximity to train tracks, and trains pass periodically throughout the day and night and are part of the riverfront experience. Complimentary disposable earplugs are provided next to each bed for added comfort. There is also a municipal facility along the road leading into the neighborhood; however, there are no odors at or around the home. This is shared simply for full transparency.
