Find us also on face 📖 @mcjcresswellcaravan The caravan is a dog friendly 3 bedroom 10ft by 35ft. It is our home from home to relax. It has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, cooker and microwave. Gas fire and oil radiators. TV with a Firestick/Netflix WiFi is available via parkdean customer. This is nothing to do with myself. All accommodation is non-smoking/no vapes There is no parking at the caravan but is a short walk from the nearby car park and nearby to the childrens play park The space 3 bedroom caravan with newly added decking to the front door. This now has a gate on. Note NO parking 🅿️ is available beside the caravan as it is located in the middle grass area of Dale view by the kids play area. Parking 🅿️ is available in car parks near by. Guest access We have an outdoor table and black chairs on the new decking. And rattan chairs and table. Also a wooden bench you’re free to use off the decking. Other things to note Clubhouse and shop opens 18th March until approximately 5th November only. This booking is for accommodation only. This is a 2009 caravan model and may show some signs of age. The caravan is as pictured. I have put new seat covers and added additional foam to the seating area to make it more comfortable. I even include my own firestick with access to paid services such as Netflix and Disney plus which the caravan park do not do. NOT PROVIDED AS PART OF LISTING FREE 2Mb WiFi New WIFI : we have a new WiFi installed on site in august 2022. This gets you upto 2mb speed per device. Registration is required to use it. This WiFi “parkdean customer” has zero association to myself and take zero responsibility for the service it provides it does not come as part of this listing. If you have issues with the parkdean customer WiFi contact reception on site for support or WiFinity on their website. Reception can help with the number. Parkdean also do a faster WiFi but charge for that connection. Again this is NOT part of the listing. mobile signal weakens in side the caravan and especially due to location of the holiday park and number of people on site. This free WiFi by parkdean allows you to use WiFi calling, browse the web/ emails , messaging etc. It does not allow streaming such as you tube / tik tok , Netflix etc. They also offer a paid faster WiFi service too which is your choice to subscribe to. My firestick is connected to the faster paid WiFi device and i can offer connection to the faster WiFi for streaming on other devices you being with you. Please enquire directly in a message as the device MAC addresses would need sending to allow this. There is 3 oil radiators that are to be used during colder weather conditions and should be set to 1 bar (500w ) if using any other electrical items at the same time as all 3 oil radiators. We place one oil radiator in the bedrooms at least 30 minutes before bedtime and use the gas fire when required. During the daytime we place a oil radiator in the hallway on a higher setting and we move one in to the living room when we don’t have the gas fire on. This makes it a comfy temperature during colder months. Unfortunately there is no heater in the bathroom so in September/ October to April it can be a little chilly in there during the evening/ early morning. If I am not there to check you in I can guide you what’s best over the phone. Also there are two electrical blankets that can be used and can be put on the beds prior to arrival if you wish to have them on, please let me know and will sort it. Alternatively you can add them yourself later. There are additional fluffy blankets available too to snuggle into for those cosy evenings. Should you have any issues upon arrival please inform on the day. If something suddenly happens during your stay please let me know asap. The caravan is cleaned by myself during off peak and some school holiday periods and also by an external cleaning company during the peak summer period before each guest arrives. So there should be zero cleanliness issues. If there is a cleanliness issue please inform myself at check in time. Photos are taken after each clean prior to each arrival and after departure where applicable. Thanks for understanding. All of our accommodation comes with sheets, pillowcases, pillows, duvets and covers or blankets when booked directly with us. We ask that you bring your own soap, towels and other bathroom and kitchen necessities. Please note we do not provide bedding for cots. To use on site facilities such as the complex and the indoor heated pool you will need to purchase entertainment passes. These can be bought from the reception upon arrival. These are approx £11 per person (price varies per time of year) The complex and facilities are closed between November and March. Only the sports pitch and kids play park is available during that time. We reserve the right to make a charge for a pet staying. There may be a dog surcharge of up to £5 per dog per day per stay (maximum 2 allowed in caravan) please add your pet the the booking it calculates it automatically. This is to cover additional cleaning time after checkout. Any damage by a pet will be charged via Airbnb in the first instance. A chargeable laundrette is available to use on site and a Nisa convenience store. When leaving a review please understand how the review system works. A 5 * rating doesn’t mean it’s a 5* hotel it means that my listing was accurate and is what was expected as seen on the pictures etc and there was zero issues with you stay. A 4* review would mean it was below average and you had and issue with the cleanliness or the listing was not accurate. So please review honestly and accurately and that this is my personal caravan that I pride myself on having and do all the upkeep and maintenance myself and trying to make it more modern as possible but keeping the character of an older van as time goes by. I am really proud to achieve superhost status and this was solely achieved on this caravan listing only. It was a very long task to climb to get the status. We as both hosts and you as guests pay a premium for using airbnb as a platform. ——————————————————— Information below I found on the internet about the review system (words are not my own 🙂) What many guests don’t understand is that anything less than a five-star review can cause serious issues for a host. The Airbnb platform actually delivers stress-inducing warnings if we get four-star ratings. And anything less than five stars can have a serious and detrimental impact on a host’s placement in the all-important search rankings—causing damage to a host’s financial well-being that a guest may not be aware of. And Airbnb’s “Super Host” program—which offers perks such as higher search placement and better customer service to extraordinary hosts—requires us to get five-star reviews in at least 80 percent of bookings: A very high (and very stressful) bar to climb if even the occasional guest who had a great stay is leaving four stars.
