Studio in riverside village of Cherta, Tarragona

This newly refurbished studio is ground floor, with its own street entrance. It has 21 meters that consist of a kitchen /living area, shower room and a sleeping area with two adult single beds. It comes fully equipped. A washing machine in the adjoining building. The village is quiet, surrounded by mountains, with outdoor activities such as kayaking, cycling and horse riding. The Ebro river and canal are at the end of the street, the beach is 25 minutes by car. Tortosa town is 15 mins away. The space No smoking or pets are allowed Other things to note Xerta ( Cherta) has two supermarkets, fish shop, a nice coffee shop / bakery and a gas station. Buses go to Tortosa in 20 minutes. There are four bars, (three that do food), and a one star Michelin restaurant. There is free parking in the streets nearby. Tortosa is a big riverside town nearby, that is good for all types of shopping and has an indoor market, cathedral and museum. It has a train station, near to the bus station, so it is easy to make connections with Barcelona, Tarragona, Valencia, etc. Cherta is popular with cyclists, walkers and hikers, as the famous Via Verde (Green Way) passes through the village, on the old railway line, going up to the mountains and down to the coast. There is kayak and bike rental and a horse riding school. The village has an outdoor swimming pool open in the summer, with a bar/restaurant. There are many national parks nearby, such as Els Ports and the coast is 25 minutes away
