Mum Griham, 'My Home', is a celestially blessed hilltop haven for your napcations. With three expansive rooms on the sprawling property, you are guaranteed an unmatched sense of scale. From every room, you can witness the Sunrise and The Full Moon. The Rooms: Tarunya : Done in Red and Mustard Yellow, the room reflects youthfulness and energy. Aikyam : Fuchsia and Olive upholstery blend well to create harmony Ikshana : Soothing and protective, a gentle space designed in Sea Blue and Teal. The space Nestled in nature ‘Mum Griham’ provides a calm space of your own to rewind. Your morning alarm would usually be the chirping of the birds and always the blessings of the Sun God. The weather can range from warm to nippy within the same day, but is usually comfortable throughout the year. The rooms are non-ac, however very cool, airy and comfortable, even in summers. Monsoons are majestic and lush. Winters are bright & sunny all day and chilly after sunset. Stargazing, with a cozy blanket on, is something you would love to do. There are numerous outdoor areas to take in the view and chill, as well as a large common fire pit to illuminate and warm up your evenings in winters. Should you feel the need to venture out of the premises, we suggest visiting: 1) Rewalsar Lake: (7 kms, just 20 mins. drive) The lake is a ‘trisangam’ (confluence of three faiths) holding great spiritual significance. 2) Maa Naina Devi Temple: (11 Kms, 30 mins. drive) The temple is a revered hilltop shrine offering divine peace along with panoramic views of the surrounding Mandi Valley. 3) Parashar Lake: (81 kms, 3 hrs. drive) Beyond its profound religious roots, the lake captivates travellers due to its unsolved mysteries of the floating island and its bottomless depth. 4) Manali: The scenic tourist town of Manali is at a distance of 130 kms, which is a 3&1/2 hrs. drive. 5) Kamrunag Temple Trek: (26 kms) The shrine connects back to Mahabharata and is globally famous for its mysterious treasure-filled lake. You can reach the vehicular base point for the Kamrunag Temple trek, Rohanda, by car (around 2&1/2 hrs drive). From the base the remainder of the trip to Kamru Nag Temple is a 6-7 kms trek, which takes about 2-3 hrs. Guest access • There are a total of three rooms on the property and every room has a private entrance. • There are numerous outdoor areas to take in the view and chill, as well as a large common fire pit to illuminate and warm up your evenings in winters. Other things to note Housekeeping & Room Service: • The room will be cleaned once a day, anytime convenient to the guests, between 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. • To help conserve water and energy, fresh bed linen and towels are provided once upon your arrival. We kindly ask you to reuse your linens to help us stay green. If you require an additional refresh during a stay longer than three nights, please let us know. • We don’t provide room service as we would like you to enjoy your meals in our aesthetically designed dining area amidst nature. Food & Beverage: • Fixed buffet meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea and Dinner) available at a charge of 2000/person • For any other in-between cravings, each room features a stocked minibar with a selection of chilled drinks and snacks, available on a chargeable basis. • Eggs & Non-vegetarian food will not be served on Tuesdays. Personal Etiquette: • Kindly keep noise levels under control as a courtesy to other guests and the local community. • Smoking is prohibited inside the room and dining area to keep it fresh for all the guests.
