Description
An idyllic place to stay - a traditional and beautiful Grade II listed Cornish cottage occupying one of the most iconic locations in the area. It sits near the end of a small terrace of five cottages directly overlooking Boscastle's historic harbour directly on the South West Coastal path. It's situated on the south-facing side of the harbour. The cottage's terrace is carved into the side of the harbour and is the perfect place to sit and relax, eat a meal or simply watch the sun go down. The space The cottage is a 240-year-old stone fisherman's cottage, updated in recent years to offer comfort, modern bathrooms and kitchen. The cottage comfortably accommodates eight people and has its own private terrace overlooking the harbour. A short walk takes you to Boscastle itself which offers three pubs, two restaurants, a fish and chip/pizza shop, and other coffee and gift shops. Being sheltered, the harbour is popular with swimmers and a great starting point for kayaking along the coast. From the cottage there are several walks, either along the coast or along the river valley that feeds into the harbour. The South West Coastal path which runs across the front of the property is the UK's largest uninterrupted national trail at 630 miles. Nearby are the historic towns of Tintagel, of King Arthur fame, and Port Isaac.
