Casa Jaumet: a peaceful place where you can listen to the silence

Rustic open-plan apartment of about 60m2 inside an isolated farmhouse. Casa Jaumet is the only inhabited house in the abandoned village of Aramunt Vell. A rural area of austere life, where you will find a lot of peace and great panoramic views. We are dedicated to beekeeping and organic farming; we are recovering abandoned crops from the environment and launching a responsible and eco-sustainable tourism project. Thank you for staying at Casa Jaumet and supporting our little big project! :) The space It's one of the few farmhouses in Pallars Jussà, a region where houses used to be grouped together in villages. Keep in mind the access to the house, as well as the bathroom is not inside the apartment. It will be good for those who want to share the austerity of a different way of life where every effort has its reward; it will not be good for those who need the frenetic consumerism of today's world and do not enjoy slow travel. Because of how to access the house and self-sufficiency (wood heating, solar energy, drinking water from the fountain...) you will feel like in a small shelter, but with all the comforts of today... From the house you can go on several excursions (trenches, Sant Corneli...) or you can relax at "lo lago" or in our pool; we will be happy to explain the best options as we are half mountain guides and passionate about hiking and climbing! Guest access Guests will have access to the fully equipped apartment, barn and a private bathroom (located in the same barn); we will share the space of the patio and the pool. Other things to note (!) IMPORTANT: The toilet is not inside the apartment, but outside, in the barn (5 steps from the apartment), to have more privacy and avoid odors; it must be kept in mind in case someone has to get up at night to go there - especially in winter. There is also another communal dry toilet outside Casa Jaumet. We live in an isolated area where access is not easy; there are two options: leaving the car on the asphalt and walking a few minutes to the apartment or arriving by forest track to the house (4x4 or all road car). Imagine that you are coming to a small shelter and you will be more mentally prepared (come with a backpack and not with a suitcase, appropriate footwear...).
