The next village is List, 15 minutes by bike, 5 minutes by car or by bus with shopping and restaurants. Great kitesurfing and windsurfing beaches all around. The right side of the house (same size, also sleeps 4 people) is also for rent, so if you rent both it is perfect for larger groups/families. In the north of the island of Sylt, Blitzelbucht, 2 beautiful thatched roof semi-detached houses in the Westerheide for rent individually or together. With a magnificent view of the heath and the Wadden Sea. Cul-de-sac. The Wadden Sea and the Weststrand are 10 or 15 minutes' walk. With terrace and small front yard. But then the room is "full". However, there is only a small bathroom. On the ground floor is the living room with a small open kitchen (without oven) and a dining table. The nearest shopping and restaurants are in List, about 4 km away. Accessible by bus. In a few minutes you can reach the Sylt bicycle path, which leads from List through the dunes and heathland to Hörnum at the southern tip. By bike you are in List in a quarter of an hour. There is a supermarket, bakery, pharmacy and many restaurants. In Blitzelbucht, on the mudflat side, within minutes walking distance, the water is flat and calm. There is a surfing school that offers windsurfing courses. You can reach the bike path along the beautiful dunes and heathland in about 15 minutes to the west beach. Since this beach can only be reached on foot and by bike, it is often deserted even in summer. The nearest supervised swimming area (Klappholttal) is also within walking distance. Guest access Guest have access to the whole place including terrace. Other things to note The house was built in the 1960s and has not been fundamentally renovated since then, unlike other houses in the neighborhood. But we also offer it at a much lower price. Guests who are especially looking forward to a break in nature are usually enthusiastic. Since it is a thatched roof house with terrace and garden in the middle of dunes and heathland, a spider or the like is more likely to get lost in the house and a few grains of sand can find their way into the house in strong winds rather than in an apartment in the city. We believe that the great charm of our cottage lies in the location. The view of nature from the terrace is uniquely beautiful. Even pheasants come to the house early in the morning. The house is surrounded by a nature reserve. Please stay on the official walking path at all times. Do not walk on dunes or through heathland. There is a biking and hiking trail a few minutes from the house that leads you to the beaches and through the entire island. Additional costs to pay by check: 30 euros per person to rent towels and bed sheets. This is optional, you are also welcome to bring your own bed sheets and towels. The house is situated in the middle of the nature reserve. The heathland may only be entered on the official paths (bicycle path). The bike and hiking trail is a few minutes' walk from the house and leads to the beach and all parts of the island. Please do not walk through the heath and do not climb the dunes. Optional to pay on site: linen package 30 euros per person
