400 year old stone built farmhouse, cottage and barn conversion which has being fully modernised over recent years. Whilst Emily Bronte worked at Law Hill House overlooking the farm she was aware of a family feud involving Jack Sharpe at Law Farm. The framework for Wuthering Heights was based on her knowledge of events at Law Farm. The space 400 year old farmhouse and farm cottage available to rent within curtilage of Law Farm with barn conversion . Across the yard is a double storey stable block and smithy which houses Stables Cafe and Tearoom. Guest access Law Farm is surrounded by open fields and there is a network of footpaths and lanes which lead throughout the Shibden valley. Shibden Hall, the home of Anne Lister which has recently being dramatised in the hugely popular BBC dramatisation of Gentleman Jack is a short walk through fields from the farm. Other things to note Beautiful, peaceful haven of tranquility, enveloped by birdsong and gentle rustling of trees.
