The renovation of a 150 years old house is an exciting challenge. The goal is to preserve the traditional architecture, but in the same time to provide the comfort of the 21st century. This beautiful wooden house is in Énlaka, a small Transylvanian village, surrounded by nature. Izgalmas feladat a mai kor igényeire formálni egy 150 éves házat. The space The main house has two bedrooms, one big bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a small restroom, and a large porch. The building comfortably accommodates 6 persons. On the same yard, across from the main house is a summerhouse, with one bedroom, a sleeping loft, and a bathroom. In the summerhouse can fit 2-3 persons. All together in the two houses are three bedrooms, where easily can fit eight people. In the yard is a brick oven and grill, an old well, a sandpit, a firepit, a big covered patio with a long table, chairs, and hammocks. The porch chalet built on the stone base has two rooms, a large bathroom with a freestanding tub, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a small sink, and a large porch. This house can comfortably accommodate six people. In the same courtyard, opposite the house, there is a summer kitchen that has been converted into a habitable area, with a room, a bedroom gallery, and a bathroom. The small house accommodates an additional 2-3 people. The two houses have a total of three rooms that can comfortably accommodate nine people. A barbecue oven, a barbecue, a sandbox, a campfire make it even more pleasant, and a cozy philago where you can eat, talk, relax.
