Ryedale Cottage

Ryedale Cottage is in a tranquil location in open countryside but with the benefit of easy access to a range of tourist destinations and sporting activities. Located within the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the cottage has stunning views from its picture windows. Ryedale Cottage offers a cosy retreat in a unique setting, with timber beams, historic stonework and a log burner. Less than 2 miles from the popular tourist town of Helmsley and country walks from the doorstep The space Featuring exposed stone walls and wooden beams, the cottage offers a historic and relaxing setting for your holiday. The living area has large picture windows looking out on to our grounds and the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This single storey (ground floor) cottage has a living room with exposed Yorkshire stone walls and original features from its earlier use as a farm building. The living room includes the dining area (a table and four chairs) and kitchen area. The living room (with sofa seating for 4) has a cosy log burner to relax in front of during colder spells. The kitchen area includes a microwave oven, toaster, kettle, under-counter fridge with freezer compartment, iron, hob and oven. The cottage is centrally heated; the bathroom has a shower cubicle (no bath) with shower seat and easy access. We offer free parking for guest - up to 2 cars (disabled parking can be provided closer to the cottage if needed). There are two bedrooms: bedroom 1 has a double bed and bedroom s has two single beds. Ryedale Cottage is one of four holiday cottages at Sproxton Hall Cottages. All benefit from the use of our landscaped grounds which include a courtyard garden with outdoor furniture, and a large lawned area with picnic benches. The cottages have on-site parking for up to 2 cars per cottage. We are open all year and guests love to enjoy the changing seasons, making use of the log burner in the colder months. Guest access Ryedale Cottage is one of four holiday cottages at Sproxton Hall Cottages. All benefit from the shared use of our landscaped grounds which include a courtyard garden with outdoor furniture, and a large lawned area with picnic benches. The cottage has on-site parking for up to 2 cars. Access is via a key box - with flexibility to arrive any time after 4pm. We will let you know if an earlier check-in time is possible.
