Mull Retreat - Panoramic Views [Skye Room]

Wake up to panoramic views of hills and a sea loch in this spacious hilltop home on the Isle of Mull. In a quiet village, just 5 mins’ walk to a pub and shop, with trails, beaches, and wildlife on your doorstep. Enjoy your open, spacious room as well as a sunny conservatory and a large garden. Perfect for couples, friends, or solo travellers to relax after exploring the island, including local distilleries, walks, & boat tours. The space This room (and the shared sunroom and bathroom) are the downstairs of a lived-in home. There are two bedrooms available (Skye and Spring rooms), of which this listing is the Skye room. (Check “Spring room Dervaig” for the other room if you wish to compare.) We use the upstairs rooms of the house and the office, which will not be available for your use. Note that you may be sharing the bathroom and sunroom with others, if the other room is booked. Guest access You will come in the house front door and go downstairs into your space. You will also have access to the front and back garden (some of the steps are old, so use these at your own risk). PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE MANY STAIRS. (These stairs allow you to have beautiful views of the hills and sea!) Once parked you will walk up an incline to the main steps, and will take these steps to the front door, then additional steps down to the downstairs area. The upstairs portion of the house is private. During your stay I work from home so am usually around, in the office or upstairs. Someone will usually be around to let you in; however, if your arrival times change from what we agreed, arrangements will be made so you can let yourself in. Other things to note Please note the property uses a septic system. To keep everything running smoothly, we kindly ask that ONLY human waste and provided toilet roll are flushed. NO OTHER ITEMS (including wipes, sanitary products including tampons, paper towels, or anything else even if it indicates it is flushable) may be disposed of in the bin provided. This is critical as any issues may result in plumbing issues for yourself, other guests, and for us in the house. We will also confirm this with you upon check in.
