Flora's house
Description
Flora's house is located at the eastern end of the village of Spilia and is only 300 meters from the center of the village. The car enters his yard. Next to it there is a small square and the beginning of a nature trail. In its courtyard there is a traditional winery, a “zivania” still (alcohol), a bakery and benches in the shade of the trees. The house is surrounded by a vineyard and a dense forest. It is a green, quiet and cool place. The house is fully equipped. The space The house was built in 2010. Its furnishings are classic. Outside of the two bedrooms it includes a living room with a sofa, cable TV, wifi, library and wood-burning stove. The living room is continuous with a fully equipped kitchen. The whole house is decorated with traditional utensils and paintings related to the history and tradition of the ancient kingdom of Soli. Our village, Spilia, was the southernmost and highest border of this kingdom. In the living room you will find information leaflets about the sights of the village and maps of sightseeing the surrounding area. The house features a covered and furnished large terrace overlooking the forest. In the yard of the house there is a covered area and barbecue utensils. There is also a shop with the products produced by the owners: Spirits, organic agricultural products, teas, jams, lemonades, etc. We also have bike rentals for those who love this medium. In our courtyard you will also find the “Stoa of Klearchos” dedicated to Clearchus the Solea, who was a student of the philosopher Aristotle and a full writer. The arcade includes a library of ancient books and a reading area. The owners of the house live in an independent residence on the ground floor and ready to welcome you, show you around and offer you every service. Guest access Our guests have access to all parts of the house, the yard and all the places we described above:Winery, stills, shop, BBQ area, etc.
