A very nice and comfortable detached house right on the water side in the lake district of Friesland, close to the Ijsselmeer. Our light holiday home is fit for 6 persons (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms). Close to beaches, forests and cities with cozy terraces and shops. All the crucial facilities are on walking distance. Our house is very light and has a garden next to the water, where you can jump in for a swim. From Spring to Autumn you can sit outside in our outdoor room out of the wind. The home is fit for maximum 6 persons and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The home also has an ideal layout for a family who travel together with less mobile persons, as it has a spacious bedroom and walk-in shower on the ground floor. At the various lakes and the Ijsselmeer are beaches where you can relaxt or surf. In the field of water sports you can indulge yourself! Many waters are accessible by boat, where you can swim, fish or picnic. The forests give walkers, cyclists and riders plenty of variety in view of the extensive trails network. In the vicinity are the Frisian Eleven cities located as Hindeloopen, Stavoren, Makkum, Workum and Sneek with cozy terraces and shops! Koudum has all the crucial facilities on walking distance as a supermarket, butcher, bookstore, pharmacy, barbers, restaurants and cafes. It also has a bicycle shop where you can rent a bike. Only the garage and two storage rooms are closed. The garden is sometimes used by my parents, my brother or me in case we leave or arrive with our sailing boat. We will always inform you upfront about this. We do not stay in the garden. So the lounge corner and eating area is solely for you!
