Nestled in the treetops and next to a historical church, the casita has three private terraces for you to enjoy. You will have your spacious room with an en-suite bathroom. The room overlooks a large, shared saltwater pool, the surrounding hillsides, our shared gardens and the quiet town. Tucked into the hills above the coast, the casita is a private guesthouse on our family estate in Sant Cebrià de Vallalta - just 35 minutes from Barcelona and 7 minutes from Sant Pol de Mar and the sea. The space The casita is completely independent, with its own entrance, terraces, and outdoor living space. Guests share access to the pool and surrounding grounds, spread across several peaceful acres. We value sustainability and your comfort, the bedding in the casita is 100% cotton, linen, and silk. We live on the property in a separate home, offering both privacy and a sense of place. This is not a rental complex or investment property — it is a family estate, cared for and loved. There are also sun loungers for sunbathing and relaxing. We have several chill-out areas, tables for eating outside and taking in the amazing views and fresh mountain air. There is a mini fridge in the casita, so we have stocked it with some of our family favorites. We also offer a small room service menu to order from during limited hours. Our resident chef works in one of the top restaurants in Canet de Mar. In addition, our house is centrally located in town where you can enjoy a short walk to a small selection of local cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. The nearest beach is less than 10 minutes away by car, Sant Pol de Mar. Another hidden gem of the Maresme Coast. Barcelona is magnetic. But staying just beyond the city offers something different: • Morning coffee overlooking the hills • A 5-minute walk into a Catalan village • Evenings under the stars • Easy train access into the city when you want it • Surrounded by hiking and cycling routes • Picturesque beaches • Rich cultural heritage For those who know Barcelona well — or who prefer to experience Catalonia more deeply — the Maresme Coast offers the best of both worlds. Other things to note: * It is important to note that our family will be on the property, there are six of us across three generations: myself, my husband, my mother, my sister, and my two sons who are 11 and 5. *We are located next to the historical landmark, Sant Cebria de Vallalta church. The church bells soundscape starts promptly at 7am and ends at 10pm. They ring every 15 minutes during this time frame. We offer complimentary ear buds in the casita although they may not be needed. *Please note there is no kitchen in the casita, there is a mini fridge and small room service menu, as well as an outdoor BBQ area. * The house is in the mountain valley, renting a car is highly recommended during your stay. We have left the business card of our local taxi driver in the casita for use if needed. Guest access The lower levels of the property are not to be accessed by guests - they are chained off and clearly marked on the property. We will walk you through the grounds upon arrival.
