A home away from home

The whitewashed house with traditional blue doors is located on the quiet Pollonia peninsula, a peaceful local neighborhood. I’ve lived here part-time since 2012, and it still feels special to spend my days here. The town has small beaches, a charming harbor, supermarket, bakery and restaurants—all within easy walking distance. The house, the sea, and the calm pace of island life invite you to slow down—a homey place to both explore the island and simply relax and enjoy your vacation. The space This whitewashed home offers all the comforts of a private house in the typical style of the Cycladic islands. The fully equipped kitchen serves 6 guests. Two bedrooms are located in the cooler basement with natural light, and one bedroom is on the ground floor. There are two bathrooms, WiFi throughout, and both a washing machine and dishwasher for convenience. You’ll find two patios, a lovely garden, and a parking space. Enjoy the sunset views from the terrace. As a part-time resident, I’ve decorated the home with care and style to create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. I rent the house during the summer when I’m in Germany, so it’s a true home away from home. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire house and outdoor space. The home is private and not shared—it's all yours during your stay. The rocky shores and sandy beach spots surround the peninsula. Walking to town leisurely takes about 10 minutes. The small harbor with its colorful boats and the little church offer a charming and laid back atmosphere amongst the lively restaurants and busy summer evenings. Other things to note Did you know? Milos’ rugged coastline has offered a hideout to pirates and smugglers crossing the Aegean over the centuries. Pollonia’s quiet little port and nearby rocks were a favored stop — kind of wild to think about while you’re relaxing here now!
