As there are few hotels on the Island, mostly private homes are rented out in the summer months. Most of these homes are built from local stone, giving Kea its unique architecture. There are three to four boats a day going to and from the Island. This charming house, is part of a small and private development ( 7 houses ), traditionally built with local-rusted colored stone, all located on the top of the rocky bay of Koundouros, surrounded by rich greenery. It is the heart of the very unique windmill scenery of Koundouros Bay. The house is ideal for a couple who want tranquility, direct access to the sea, while having the possibility to explore the island’s history ( archeological museum, ancient temple ruins, ancient footpaths ) , hidden beaches and rich nature ( royal oak forest ). The house is within walking distance of the pebble beach of the bay and a dive away from the crystal blue waters just below the house. This house is decorated with taste and style and has all the amenities and comforts for you to have an enjoyable stay. The house has an independent entrance from the side.The property has a cozy living room with a corner sofas with very comfortable white pillows, a dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a king size bed and a bathroom with a shower. Outside there is a large terrace with an amazing sea view (sunny all day ) and direct access to the private beach (rock platform). One large stone sofa for 8 people with comfortable white pillows, one large umbrella for 6 people , 1 external shower . It is a 10 minute walk to the sandy beaches of Koundouros with umbrellas, water sports activities, beach bar and a restaurant. The small tavernas are a few minutes away by car or 15 minutes walking . The ideal getaway for your summer Holiday !! Amenities: Internet, wifi, air-conditioning, oven, refrigerator, hobs, coffee filter machine, kettle, toaster, mosquito blinds, beach amenities, outdoor sun umbrella, parking. No smoking in the house, pets not allowed, no parties or events. Check-in after 3pm - check out 12 noon. Guests are kindly requested to respect "quiet time" from 2.30pm to 5.30pm and after 12 at night. No loud music is allowed at all times.
