Scandi-chic seaside cottage in the countryside

Our scandi-chic cottage is a lovely holiday home, beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings, warm and cosy in the winter, light and airy in the summer, set within beautiful Suffolk countryside, in a completely off-road location. Perfect for weekend trips to Snape for world-renown classical music concerts or to Latitude Festival at Henham Park. 10 minutes drive from the beach, sleeps up to 6 people - 4 adults and 2 children, enjoy the peace and quiet of a true country location. The space Our location is a special secret as we are literally set amongst glorious Suffolk fields but within a 5 minute walk of the local shops, restaurants, cafes and 2 supermarkets. If you are taking a rest from cooking on your holiday, there are lots of options to eat out from local pubs, to the delicious restaurants of Aldeburgh and Southwold. Saxmundham station is a 7 minute walk away, for trains coming from London. There are a wealth of places to visit within a 20 mile radius - such as medieval castles in Orford or Framlingham, glorious sandy beaches at Walberswick or Sizewell and the walking on the coast, in forests and heathland is unrivalled. Snape with its internationally renowned music venue, is a 5 minute drive and Latitude Festival at Henham Park is less than half an hour. In our garden we grow fruit - apples and plums and various vegetables, which we will share with our guests - seasons and harvest permitting, along with occasional eggs from our chickens, please just ask. The cottage has its own drive and there is off-road parking for 2 cars. Guest access Within 20 minutes drive are the beautiful beaches and seaside towns of Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Walberswick and Southwold. Plus the ancient castle towns of Orford and Framlingham and acres of forests and moorland. We are also 5 minutes from the world-renowned Snape concert hall, a mecca for classical music lovers, set in the beautiful Iken reed beds. Plus festivals, in July we are also a handy 20 minutes drive to Latitude on the Henham Estate and 10 minutes from Folk East (August) on The Glemham Estate. Other things to note We look forward to meeting human guests but we don’t accept animals!
