Holly Cottage is a stylish contemporary barn conversion combining cottage charm with spacious accommodation and excellent modern facilities in a lovely rural setting. Set in the grounds of a small farm and private stables with lovely views of the of the surrounding countryside. Ideally situated for exploring the Peak District and local area. Holly Cottage offers a spacious modern Kitchen diner, a cosy sitting room with TV also two good size double bedrooms, modern bathroom and outside space. The space The cottage is a good size, fresh and bright, with a large well equipped modern kitchen with large table to accommodate a full family. There is plenty of cutlery, crockery and pans to cook if required plus good sized fridge freezer and washer dryer. The lounge is warm and cozy with extra electric fire if needed on a cold winter evening, with seating for at least 6, a good TV and selection of DVD's to play. With 2 good sized bedrooms with room in the large double for a travel cot if needed, plenty or wardrobe space, extra blankets and pillows if required. A modern warm and well appointed bathroom including bath with shower over and lots of towels. We are very happy to welcome dogs and other pets to the cottage and only ask that owners obviously respect normal doggy rules that is no dogs up stairs (there is a stair gate provided) or dogs on the furniture but we do provide throws should our small friends need them. The garden is not enclosed to let dogs out unattended however dog owners are welcome to take the dogs just a short stroll to our fields to allow them to run free and we can offer plenty of great local walks directly from the door step. The outside space has a patio with table and chairs and lawns to the side, and looks onto the stables and paddocks. The horses and there owners will be seen in the stable area as they go about they daily care. All these activities are at a safe and reasonable distance from guest areas and will cause them no disruption there is space for children to play safely on the lawns and we can offer more space to play a good game of football if you wish. Guests always seem to enjoy seeing the horses around especially the children, and we can arrange for anyone who wishes to meet the horses . Other things to note The Peak District National park offers visitors wonderful opportunities for those wishing to explore walking or cycling with numerous beautiful grand houses to visit including Chatsworth House, Hadden Hall and Hardwick Hall close by. The popular town of Bakewell set in the centre of the Peak District also Matlock Bath and Chesterfield close by.
