An 18th century mansion in the center of Falaise, listed as a historic monument, between Pays d'Auge and Suisse Normande, between the landing beaches and Mont-Saint-Michel... Falaise is a welcoming small town where many restaurants, shops and tourist attractions will make your stay pleasant. 30 minutes from Caen city center and 1 hour 40 minutes from Mont-Saint-Michel The space The Rotunda room is a suite with an area of 50 m2, equipped with a "king size" bed (180 x 200) in an alcove, with separate entrance, bathroom (shower cabin and bathtub) and toilet. It enjoys a view of the large wooded park of the Château de la Fresnaye. Guest access On the ground floor, the vestibule which hosts a gallery of antique paintings and a living room with woodwork, Versailles parquet and fireplace in pure Louis XVI style where, depending on the season, breakfast will be served in front of a fireplace or open windows facing the Fresnaye park. Upstairs, a small living room next to the bedrooms welcomes you to read, chat or play cards for example. During your stay You will be welcomed by the owner and you will share, if you wish, in the early evening with him, a moment of conviviality around a drink in the small living room, before visiting the Saint-Léonard hotel. Breakfast is served between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. in a lounge of the private hotel Other things to note On Saturday mornings, a large market with regional and local products is held in the center of Falaise. The Forméo de Falaise aquatic center will allow you to relax or work your muscles with swimming pools, spa, hammam, sauna and gyms. The mansion is located in the city center, it is very quiet but it is not an isolated house in the forest.
