190m2 of privacy, wildlife, comfort at Dammsberg

Enjoy nature and fresh air in this wonderful forest property of 4ha, you'll have entire house of 190m2 for yourself with all equipment for a comfortable stay. Watch wildlife while sitting on the terass. It's 4km to nearest shops and restaurants, only 5km to a wonderful lake with a beach. Perfect both winter and summertime! The space This property is built in place of an old farm. There are plenty of fantastic forest paths for walks or biking. Södermanland with its beautiful lakes is a perfect place for fishing, swimming or canoeing. If you are interested in horse riding, it's just 4 km from the house. If you play golf, the court is about 7 km from the house. Both on our land (just outside the house) and in the close neighbourhood there are lots of blueberries - pick you own healthy addition to the breakfast or make your own jam. Later in the summer there are nice places around to pick mushrooms. As you probably know in Sweden there is a law called “Allemansrätt” : The freedom to roam, or everyman's right is the general public's right to access certain public or privately owned land for recreation and exercise. The right is sometimes called the right of public access to the wilderness or the right to roam. Due to that you might meet horse-riding people through the property, or occasionally joggers or dog-walkers. They keep a good distance from the house, and are not allowed in a house’s proximity. Guest access Guest have access to entire house and lands around. Our guests may use the hot bath tube, (water warms up with wood and it takes a while to get it really hot). We appreciate if guests can follow our instructions for Bath tube usage. The bath tube is equipped with inside light, but it doesn't have the jacuzzi. If you use the chopped wood for firing in the hot tube, we ask for a fee of 100 sek/bath (you may use branches from the woods without fee). There are two bikes available for our guests. Our neighbours offer wild meat (boar, dear ), lamb and eggs from their own farming. Other things to note The house is fully modern and comfortable to stay. The living area is 190 m2 divided in two floors. Water is provided from own well, the quality is regularly checked - it's excellent for drinking. We recycle glass, paper and plastics - containers are provided in the laundry. Biological waist should be disposed in the compost containers outside the house.
