The Lodge

Been searching for a cosy exquisite property for your special stay? No need to look any further than The Lodge! The Lodge is a one of a kind holiday let. Boasting all the warm and mellow vibes of a cottage but with a few modern twists. Looking to relax with family and friends? Put your feet up in the rustic lounge with a roaring fire... Ready to take it up a gear? Enjoy the disco room and test your karaoke skills followed by a soak in the large state of the art hot tub! The space On the ground floor is the lounge with three sofas which can seat 12 guests. There is a smart tv and bio mass log fire. Fuel is provided for the burner but would need to be notified prior to your stay. Leading off the lounge is the kitchen and dining area. The main table can seat 10 guests with a further folding table and chairs provided should you wish to use. Connected to the dining area is the bar area and ground floor w.c. There are 5 bedrooms, of which 3 are en-suites and a shared bathroom for bedrooms 2 and 3. Head outside via the back door and step into the disco and spa room. Have a sing on the pearly pink microphones or dance along to your favourite hits. Whichever is your preference, this room was made for making memories. Be it in the super charged disco room or the warm beckoning lounge, this 300 year old cottage has a uniquely modern ambience but with a natural flowing twist! Guest access The Lodge is a semi detached holiday let connected to another of our properties called The Moorland (please click on our profile to see our other listings and The Moorland). The only shared spaces with The Moorland is the car park and outdoor areas. Other things to note It is a two night minimum stay over a weekend. Sundays can be booked for a one night stay. Located right between Manchester and Leeds and just 10 minutes from the motorway. In August, it is a 2 night minimum stay. Christmas 2026 is a 3 night minimum stay Thursday 24th - Sunday 27th. Unfortunately we are unable to accept stag-do's unless both sides are taken out together.
