Enjoy the tranquility and serenity of the countryside in the Juhlsgaard holiday barn! Built in the 19th century and converted into a vacation apartment with Nordic charm in 2017-2018. Picturesquely located in the village of Hodderup in Angeln, where the landscape is gently undulating and divided by green hedgerows and scattered farmsteads. The Baltic Sea is 7 km away. The surroundings invite you to hike, swim and cycle. Nearby attractions include: the Hanseatic cities of Flensburg and Schleswig, Glücksburg Castle and Denmark. The space The apartment "Morgentied" is on the 2nd floor. First you enter the spacious living and dining room with open kitchen. This room goes up to the roof, two floor-to-ceiling windows are facing south. From the windows you have a beautiful view of the baroque garden and a small lake. The morning sun, which gives the apartments their name, shines through a glazed, former grain hatch and two historic rungs. The floors are in light oak, the walls are plastered white, the decor is in the Nordic country house style, everything looks spacious, bright and cozy. The open-plan kitchen has ivory-colored surfaces in a country house style and a worktop in light oak. It is spatially arranged over the corner and equipped with an oven, a ceramic hob, a small dishwasher, a refrigerator with an ice compartment and all the necessary utensils. On the east side of the living room is a large dining table, which invites you to a cozy get-together and extensive meals. The living room is equipped with a cozy couch, which can also be converted into a bed (160 cm), coffee table, armchair, floor lamp and a TV. From the living room, you enter two well-proportioned bedrooms facing north. One bedroom is equipped with a large double bed (180 cm), the other with two single beds. The attractive shower room is naturally ventilated, equipped with high-quality sandstone-colored tiles and has a washing machine and dryer. Above the enclosed living rooms, there is a loft with a low ceiling height. It is accessed via a small staircase (secured at the top with a child-safe grid) and is ideally suited as a playground for children. A parking space is available in front of the house for the apartment. A shelter for bicycles is still being built, a socket for e-bikes is available. The apartment does not have direct access to the outside. The cobbled courtyard can be reached via a corridor on the ground floor. There is a swing on a meadow next to the courtyard. Guest access The entire apartment is at the guests' disposal. Other things to note For short stays under 7 days, linens and towels are not included in the price. You can either bring the linens and towels yourself or book them for an extra charge of 17 euros for the linen package per person. The linen package includes bed linen and 1 small and 1 large towel per person. If you would like the linen package, please let me know so I can schedule it. You will receive information about the payment of the linen package after your booking.
