Gîte Villequier - The 1882

In the charming village of Villequier (Rives en Seine, Seine Maritime, Normandy) 3-star furnished 70 m2, for 5 people, a few steps from the Seine. Looking forward to hosting you there. The space Quiet, warm and bright place where nothing is lacking according to guests who have already stayed here. Indeed everything has been thought out and equipped to make you feel good in this house which dates from 1882 hence its name. The decoration combines the old (parquet and tiles) with modern comforts. The house consists of a ground floor with an 18 m2 kitchen/dining area, a 15 m2 living room, a back kitchen, a shower room and separate toilet. Upstairs you will find the night area with 2 bedrooms of 11 and 17 m2. The top floor is private and is not accessible for rent. In summer, the south-facing wooden terrace will allow you to have a good time around the table or rest in the deckchairs. In the evening you can also enjoy it and at night it will be lit by the street lanterns for a change of scenery, with a completely different charm. Another asset: the Seine!!! Take your coffee, tea, snack, a good book or good music, walk 30 meters and sit on the low wall or one of the benches and the tranquility of the place, the decor with changing colors and reflections will do the rest: passing boats, swans, ducks, cat that will come to seek caresses. For sports enthusiasts, hop on a bike, put on your rollerblades, sneakers, hiking shoes or get on your scooter: the Vélo Seine will offer you nice rides in complete safety. Villequier, halfway between Le Havre and Rouen, is also an ideal stopover for exploring Normandy. From here you can discover our heritage: abbeys, nature reserves, Route des Chaumières, state forests, museums, but also visit Honfleur, Étretat, Pont-Audemer, Veules-les-Roses... See you soon Guest access Guests have access to the enclosed private terrace, ground floor with kitchen, dining area, living room, shower room with double sinks, separate toilet and back kitchen. On the 1st floor, 2 bedrooms. The 3rd floor is not available for guests. Unfortunately the house is not suitable for people with disabilities due to the stairs. Other things to note GARBAGE COLLECTION/SELECTIVE SORTING In the back kitchen, a yellow bin allows you to deposit your recyclable waste. The removal is done every Monday afternoon on Rue Binet, at the same time as the household waste (green container belonging to the cottage) For glass, a crate is available in the back kitchen, but at the end of your stay you will need to have emptied it: to be done at the exit of the village in the direction of Caudebec there is a glass container. CLEANING Suitable household products, sponges, and tea towels are at your disposal. It is expected that at the agreed time of your departure the dishes will be washed and put away in the original place. Dishwasher and garbage should be emptied and cleaned if needed. Ovens, refrigerator, stovetop, sinks, worktops and appliances should be cleaned and clean In the shower room, the basins, shower walls, mirrors will also need to be cleaned and made clean. Same for toilets. Towels should be grouped in the back kitchen. In the bedrooms, please remove the duvet covers and pillowcases and gather them in the back kitchen with towels. The vacuum cleaner will need to be passed through the entire house. Floors should not be cleaned with water. However, if you do not wish to carry out this end-of-stay cleaning (which must be done before the agreed time of your departure) you can let me know at the time of your reservation and opt for an additional €50 will then be paid on the day of your arrival. BABY KIT, Upon request during booking, possibility to provide you with a supplement of €30 per stay: 1 baby bed with mattress and 1 fitted sheet, 1 high chair, 1 small bathtub, 1 changing mat, unbreakable dishes. This also includes the installation of safety barriers at the top and bottom of the stairs. Surcharge to be paid on site. SECURITY DEPOSIT In case of damage that could be caused to the premises and/or furniture and/or objects lining the premises (appliances, decoration, bed and toilet linens...) or in case of theft, a hold will be made on the deposit. If it does not cover the fees, a lawsuit will be made. Capacity The reservation is made for a specific number of people (maximum capacity 5 adults and 1 infant). The landlord is able to decline additional guests. This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of departure of a number of customers equivalent to those refused (excepting the capacity) , no refund can be considered. The sofa is not convertible and it is forbidden to consider it as a bed. NO SMOKING IN THE HOUSE: It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the cottage, an ashtray is on the terrace. INSURANCE The customer undertakes to insure against rental risks (fire, water damage). Failure to insure, in the event of a claim, will result in lawsuits, damages and interests. In the event of an incident, damage, or break the customer's obligation to report it to the landlord within 24 hours. PETS NOT ALLOWED IN THE VILLAGE AND IN IMMEDIATE PROXIMITY You will find playgrounds, skate park, sports field, veloseine, hiking trails, nurses, Victor Hugo museum, pizzeria, brewery, tea room. Caudebec nearby (4 kms) all shops, banks, restaurants, tourist office (hiking and trail house), doctors, gendarmerie, cinema, swimming pool, bike rental, MuséoSeine museum..
