The 70-acre 3 Birken property is located in the middle of a nature reserve, near a swimming river and exceptional restaurants. You'll love our place in the construction trailer because of the location, the surroundings and the exceptional ambiance. 3 Birken is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, for book writing, for spiritual seekers looking for a special place, pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. The property is not suitable for parties. The space The stay at the 3 Birken site will certainly be different from what you are otherwise used to! Pure nature. Retreat into silence or secluded romance for two. Wake up in the morning with birdsong, watch the stars in the evening and sit by the large fireplace. The construction trailer (2 x 8 meters) is lovingly and comfortably furnished and equipped with many useful everyday things. Creative details inspire the imagination. In summer, it's easy living! When the weather is no longer so summery, you need some information that is important, because we want to be sure that our guests are comfortable and know exactly what they are booking. The construction trailer is very lovingly decorated and equipped so that you can stay there for some time. There is no running water, but electricity. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, fridge, pots, pans, dishes, kitchen basics, coffee maker, kettle, ... so there is everything you need to set up comfortably, cook and have a good time. Limiting the comfort is the simple dishwashing station in the forest, which is more likely not to be used in bad weather. But you can wash up in the construction trailer with a rinsing bowl. There is everything you "need" in terms of utensils to arrange yourself well, from corkscrews to dishcloths to cleaning supplies and tools. Personal hygiene is done as in the past with a jug and bowl. Works great and has charm. Soap, jug and bowl, as well as towels are sufficiently available. The fresh service water is provided in a large closed barrel. We provide bottled drinking water. For the rather unusual case that the water runs out, we are also happy to show you the way to the source. The natural limitation of the water supply has the effect that you get a different feeling for the daily water consumption. For guests who do not want to do without showering, we have a high-quality camping shower (which can be filled with warm water) and a shower tent that can be set up in the forest. So far, our guests have been well-groomed people and they all got along very well and thought it was great.... It is very cozy in the site trailer. There is a beautiful loft bed with many, many extra blankets in case it gets colder. A wood-burning stove heats so well that it gets too hot rather than too cold. Wood is available in large quantities and briquettes too. The only danger is that you won't want to leave. If you have a need, then you have to leave the construction trailer. After 20 meters, the path to the cool, unheated upcycling dry separation toilet is then made and the last outdoor hurdle is taken! ;-). The toilet is one of our highlights, especially in summer, because it smells very pleasant and woody even at high temperatures due to the sophisticated fermentation system that we use. Drei Birken fits perfectly into the concept of clamping and you can relax there extra well... for a couple it is a romantic cuddly cave, for hikers or meditators a wonderful retreat that brings everyone out of everyday life. Guest access You have access to the entire site (70 ares). Other things to note Since the site is located in a nature reserve, we care about the careful handling of everything. Your active help is needed here. We will give you a small natural area guide that is instructive and helps you to pay attention to all living beings on the premises and to find your way around well. In addition, on request by email, there is information about the dry separation toilet and Terra Preta and also a construction manual for replication. Talk to us about it! The property includes a meadow orchard and a small forest, as well as a spring overflow, which carries water twice a year. Furthermore, you will find extra places with dead wood for insects and stone pyramids and brick wells for the amphibians. Orchids worthy of protection bloom on the premises and rare insects cavort. Protected birds can be found and several wood ant hills. There's sooo much to discover!
