Our 1 bedroom/1 bath Stand Alone Venice Beach Bungalow is beautifully furnished, clean and private. It offers lots of outdoor space including a comfy seating area, outside table and barbecue. The Bungalow is walking distance to fabulous shops and restaurants on Abbot Kinney, Rose & Main, and a less than ten minute walk/ 5 minute bike ride to the beach (Bikes provided). This corner lot home has a large oak tree and a larger front and side yard than the other two gated bungalows on the property. This Craftsman Bungalow has all the charm of old world Venice with modern amenities. As of June 2022, the entire inside of the bungalow has been repainted white, giving our charming bungalow and even cleaner look. Our private home features a relaxing outdoor area surrounded by private fence. Centrally located to everything Venice and Main Street, Santa Monica has to offer; it's easy to get out and explore on foot or with one of our beach cruisers. This property is one of three one bedroom beach bungalows. Each bungalow has a queen bed with a comfy Casper mattress. There is plenty of street parking surrounding the Bungalows. We also have two curb cuts directly outside the bungalow gates that say "no parking", but they are for our guests only. Please note, in March of 2022, the fence was extended to full height for our Bungalow units. Fourth Ave is a walkable street to Abbot Kinney and can be busy on occasion so this ensures more for increased privacy for our guests. Also included: -Window air conditioner during summer months. -One bedroom w/ queen bed. -Fold out queen sized couch w/custom mattress. -New bathroom renovation (no tub) -Washer & dryer -Fully stocked kitchen w/dishwasher & Nespresso Machine -HD Smart TV w/ Netflix and sound bar to Bluetooth music - Wall heater, window air con during summer months, and plenty of fans. Including ceiling fan in bedroom. -High speed wifi -Outdoor couches, dining table & seating areas. -BBQ. We provide sheets, bedding and bathroom towels for your use during your stay. Shampoo, and soap is also provided. If you need extra towels or bedding, please let us know. Square Footage: 636 Guests have a private entrance to their individual bungalows. The Bungalows have fences between each one and all three have their own individual outside area with seating/sun loungers and BBQ that we encourage guests to use up until midnight, at which point we ask that outside noise is kept to a minimum in respect for our neighbors and guests in the other Bungalows. There is a tall, vine laced fence that separates the bungalows, along with a small latched gate between them that allows the gardener to work. Guests will have access to the entire home and the driveway to park. There will be no one else on the property, other than the occasional gardener and pool man, unless otherwise discussed with you in advance. All 30+ day stays require mid stay cleaning by our professional housekeeping team. This is a full clean of the house and change of linens. We pay our cleaners a fair, livable wage and we always strive to hire the best, most reliable and honest cleaners in the business. This team in the backbone of our company, and they work tirelessly to ensure every stay is a clean one! There will be two bikes provided for each bungalow. Dogs are welcome but please let us know! We are very dog friendly but for the safety of all our guests, we can only allow dogs that have never had any behavior issues with people or other pets. Additionally, pets must be on a flea preventive medication prior to arrival /flea free The Open Air Homes team is dedicated to making sure you have a great experience staying with us! We use a centralized texting service and have an international team so that we can provide you with 24/7 communication. You can rest assured that someone from the Open Air team will be there should you need us at any hour of the night. When visiting Venice Beach, you are entering the most walkable and bike friendly city in all of Los Angeles. We recommend exploring the great restaurant scene on Abbot Kinney, Rose Ave and Main/Pacific, as well as on the boardwalk. There has been a revival of the restaurant scene, and the shopping has always been top notch, especially on Abbot Kinney. Be sure to walk Abbot Kinney, especially on the weekends, if you want to see a great example of the vibrancy of this community. If you’re up for a bike ride, take the path North all the way to the start of Malibu, or there is a secret path through Marina Del Rey that can take you all the way down on a bike path to Redondo. We recommend walking the walk streets, and seeing all of the unique architecture throughout the entire community. The canals are also worth checking out to view the unique history of Venice Beach. This home is 2 blocks from Abbot Kinney, 4 blocks from Rose Ave, and 5 blocks from the beach. In our opinion, these bungalows are located in the ideal area, to feel like you're in the vibrant community of Venice, but far enough away from the louder areas near the beach. You have a significant number of great restaurants to choose from within a few blocks of the house, so we invite you to explore the area and are happy to give recommendations! There is street cleaning on one side of the street between 10-12pm on Wednesday's & Thursday's. You will get a ticket if parked on the street during street cleaning so we advise moving your car ahead of time! While visiting Southern California, having a car is the preferred mode of transportation for most, considering the wealth of unique attractions within a two-hour radius of this home. For the adventurous explorer, a car is highly recommended to fully appreciate the diverse experiences the area offers. However, if you're inclined to arrive and seamlessly unwind at the house during your vacation, rest assured that Uber and Lyft services are readily available for convenient and hassle-free local transportation in Los Angeles. Venice is highly walkable and bike-able which is one of our favorite things about the area. Along with the bikes we provide you are right next to line 18 of the Big Blue Bus that runs from UCLA to Santa Monica and down to Windward circle in Venice. Head up to Santa Monica and transfer to Metro's Expo Light Rail to head downtown. You can connect with other lines that go into different parts of the city like Dodger game, the Staple Center, and Union Station. Open Air Homes is setting a new standard for the short term rental industry. During your stay, we rely on a centralized texting service so that you can reach us anytime simply with a text. Our property management team cares for each home, and our goal is to have each home properly maintained before you step foot in the home. We make your check in and check out process a breeze, and simply ask you to turn off the lights/AC and lock up on departure. Our team is well versed in the local community, and we offer each guest a personalized set of recommendations before your stay, with the goal of making your stay a truly unforgettable experience. - By booking with us, you agree to sign our Rental Agreement. - You understand that your check-in instructions will be sent after successfully signing our Rental Agreement. - Pets and animals are not permitted at the property at any time whatsoever unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to booking. Failure to comply with this will result in additional charge up to $1000 and/or eviction without limiting any other legal or equitable remedies available to Owner and/or Company. Replacement costs will be charged to guests if items are not received within 10 days of check-out. PET FEES: For stays under 30 days, there is a non-refundable fee of $150 per pet. For 30+ stays, there is a non-refundable fee of $300 per pet. Damages and/or failure to pick up after your pet may result in additional charges at check out.
