Marvelous Ocean View House

Welcome to enjoy one of West Sweden most beutiful areas - Grönemad, Grebbestad! The house is tranquil situated made for relaxing days with it's panoramic view of the Skagerack. The hous is sourrounded by beautiful nature and granite rocks. The space A holiday home at the sea in the skerries of the West Coast of Sweden will be the serving suggestion here. You can be sure of one thing which you will have at least together with the rent of this spacious and modern holiday home, and that is the location of the house which belongs to one of the best you can find. You will live here in the coastal region of Bohuslän, a bit outside of the West Coast pearl of Grebbestad, and with a beautiful panoramic view of the "Skagerack". The holiday home has a location where you won´t be disturbed, right in the middle of the cliff scenery with totally seven rooms and a kitchen. Three of the rooms are bedrooms and the house has two toilets, shower, bathtub, washing machine as well as a fully equipped/furnished kitchen with, for example, a dishwasher. At the beautiful terrace, extending from east to west, you can observe the sunrise on the one hand and the sunset on the other hand when the sun sinks slowly into the sea beneath the horizon. Aforementioned sea is located about 150 meters away from the holiday home, a sandy beach will be found 50 meters further. There you can also go for diving or rent a kayak. The main artery of Grebbestad is the harbour with its 200 meters long pier. You can have here a "romantic" walk along the coast and in doing so admire the charming and historical old picturesque buildings from the past. Grebbestad is one of the towns, belonging to the local authority district of Tanum, Västra Götaland region. For example, in 2005 the town had 1371 inhabitants. In summer, however, this number can increase as much as ten-fold. The reason for this can be the fact that there are really a lot of cosy restaurants with local fish specialities or simply the beautiful location at the West Coast of Sweden which has an magnetic attraction for many holiday-makers. Guest access There is private parking lots on the property. On the terrasse you will find the barbeque/grill. Other things to note Shoes off... In Sweden it is custom to take off your shoes indoors and we are happy if you do that as well. Recycling Food waste in brown paper bags under the kitchen sink. When they are full, dispose in the brown bin outdoors. Plastic, paper and glass/metal in each black bag in the pantry in the kitchen. All other trash thrown away in household waste - the green bin outside. ECO friendly house We take care of the heat that is generated in the house by the sun, kitchen, fireplace, body heat, candles et c. This energy is used to heat the water that keeps the house warm (waterpipes in the floors) and provides hot water in the taps and shower. That is why it is extra important that you do not leave doors and windows open when it is cold outside. The system is sustainable and eco-friendly. The Fireplace Please feel free to use the fireplace. Ash can be left in the garden plantings, just make sure it is cold to avoid fires. Barbeque There is a barbeque/grill on the terrass. Just go on and use it. You just need to clean it afterwards. Cleanup before departure Please leave the cottage in the same nice condition as upon arrival; 1. Bedding should be taken off and left in the bathroom on the first floor by the landrury. 2. Shake all rugs and please tell us if they need to be washed or leave them in the basket mentioned above. 3. Vacuum clean every room. You’ll find the vacuum cleaner in closet under the stair. 4. Mop the floors. The mop is also under the stairs. Use a dash of ”Grön såpa” for the tile floors and a dash of ”Vit såpa” for the wooden floors, in warm water (you will find it in the cupboard over the cooffe machine in the kitchen 5. Clean the toilet i.e mirror, the toilet seat inside & outside, the zink et c 6. Clean the kitchen i.e all surfaces, the stove, owen, the cupboard under the zink et c. 7. Empty the trash. 8. Lock all doors. 9. Leave the keys to Ingela or Marcus on checkout - latest 10 o’clock on the day of departure. If you do not want to clean the house by yourself, you are able to just do step 1 above and order a cleaning for an additional charge of 4 500 SEK by telling us latest 24 hours before leaving. Please, let us know if something has broken or need an extra cleaning, so we will be able to keep up the good condition of the house for the next guest.
