It is just 2 minutes from the highway, with easy access to all destinations on São Miguel Island, and less than 15 minutes from João Paulo II Airport. Proximity to Beaches: It is just a 14-minute walk from the beach and a 3-minute drive from Milícias and Pópulo beaches. It is close enough yet far from the usual noise of the beach area, which lasts until late. Surfing Beaches: If you wish to visit Santa Bárbara and Ribeira Grande beaches, where some of the best surf spots on the island are located, they are just a 20-minute drive away.
