Guest room in a quiet neighborhood. Note our various activities described below. A natural preserve and starting points for relaxing hikes are within 5 minutes walking distance. We are close to the public transportation and to the A4. Shopping facilities are nearby. The room is designed with stylish 50's retro - furniture; renovated 01/2017, beautiful hardwood floor. The space We are located in Jena-Lobeda right at the foot of the mountain plateau called Wöllmisse offering close connection to hiking trails. The medieval castle ruin "Lobdeburg" is there to be visited, too. The University hospital Jena is within 10 minutes of walking, ideal for private visits, work stays or conference visits. Guest access There is a terrace in front of the guest room which you can feel free to use and enjoy the garden from there. During your stay Your hosts Jens and Ines are happy to help with organizing activities. Sometimes, when we cook, we may offer to our guests culinary discoveries into organic food. Also, we have telescopes and can provide tours to the night sky. From April through July, when the orchids are in bloom, we provide guided walks to observe these rare plants for which the Jena area is famous for. Other things to note Jens is also a musician playing Jazz/world music improvisation on recorders, so if you travel with your instrument we may jam a bit. Ines teaches Yoga and Tango - she knows the places to go for dancing. If you like you can book yoga and relaxation sessions with us during your stay.
