Country cottage, The Plough at Hog Hill Cottages

A lovely barn conversion tucked away in the beautiful Suffolk countryside and a short drive to the coast. The cottage has been carefully restored to preserve the original character of a former cart lodge and has lots of natural light. The living areas have been stylishly furnished with a wood-burning stove for cosy holidays throughout the winter. We have developed a Prairie garden in part of our garden and guests are welcome to walk through the Prairie which is at its best from May. The space Our home at Wolsey Farm House is set in 5 acres of land where we have a Prairie garden and wildflower meadow, plus a pond and a moat. We cut paths through the grass so our guests can walk around the property and enjoy the views and the environment where we try to encourage wildlife. Guest access We encourage our guests to walk around the property with the exception of the walled garden and driveway within the immediate vicinity of our house. We welcome dogs but ask that they should be kept on a lead while walking in the grounds. Other things to note Plough Cottage can be hired together with Harrow Cottage next door for a group of eight people and also our new cottage The Cowshed, although we do not permit dogs to enter this cottage, which makes a total of 10 people should anyone wish to hire all the cottages together.
