We are located right in the heart of Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its stunning moorland scenery and tapestry of lush green meadows. Bordered by the Yorkshire Dales National Park and close to the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey, Nidderdale is that unique blend of ingredients, mixed in the right proportions and painted in the right colours – whatever the season – that has had a timeless appeal to artists, photographers and film makers. The space We have finished Knotty and Nice to a very high standard, with all creature comforts from underfloor heating through to luxury linen. 1 king size bedroom with full size wardrobe and two bedside tables with lamps, fully equipped kitchen-lounge with 40inch tv, wifi, games, cards and dining area to seat two people, fully fitted bathroom with bath and shower, sink and wc, heated towel rail. Outside is a balcony with table and chairs to have your morning coffee sat in the sun and watch the day go by. Two luxurious bathrobes and flip flops are provided for the use of the hot tub. You have your own private hot tub that is located on the side of the cabin for privacy. This unique location offers you peace and tranquility like no other, with wildlife on your doorstep : pheasants, deer, hares, woodpeckers and much more. The area of Nidderdale offers some of the best walks and cycling routes in Yorkshire. You are 3 miles from Pateley Bridge that has beautiful walks along the river side. In Pateley Bridge you have a range of cafes, butchers, restaurants, and a leisure centre with swimming pool. We have Nidderdale Lamas on your doorstep, 1 mile away. So much to do in the area. When you arrive, you will find we have included all the following ready for your stay: Bottles or cans Biscuits or Crisps Small bottle of milk Coffee/Yorkshire tea & sugar The log cabin is located on a working farm that specialises in suckled beef cattle and sheep, which you will see whilst out and about!, and the farm itself has been in the family for over a century! The farm was primarily dairy until 1996, when it was decided to go into beef cattle and sheep, and currently we hold 100 beef breeding cattle and 100 sheep. We have over 250 acres of woodlands and fields, and there are many recognised walks and hikes in the area. Some of the farm buildings like the milking parlour have now been developed into houses that the family still own and live in. Guest access Garden, Hot tub, Outdoor seating area, secure parking at the front of the cabin. Other things to note Directions to Knotty & Nice, take the B6165 from Harrogate to Burnt Yates, turn on to the Brimham Rocks Road, at the crossroads, go straight over and down the hill, and you will see a millstone that says Itsajob and Implement shed, take the lane and the cabin is on your right. Please note that the owner will be up to check the hot tub everyday, to check the ph, and chlorine. We have a strict NO PETS policy in the cabin. We operate an adult only/18+ policy We have one more log cabin at Braisty woods called Hopes and Beams as well as Knotty and Nice. No smoking around the hot tub No candles to be brought into the property
