The space We offer guests free parking within walking distance of the accommodation. Because the house is located in an urban area in the center of České Budějovice, parking is not available directly at the house or directly at the entrance to the accommodation. Reserved parking is located on Za domem Street, approximately 250 meters on foot from the apartments. We recommend first stopping briefly at the house and unloading your luggage. Then you can drive to the designated parking space. **Apartment** There are places that just accommodate you. And then there are places that embrace you. Golden Balance is the latter. Fully equipped amenities and air conditioning are a given; the feeling that you are being taken care of is the main thing. **Building** The VIVIEN Apartments building has stood in the center of České Budějovice since 1900 and has seen a lot. On the outside, it retains its original character and story, but on the inside, it underwent a major renovation in 2026 – the apartments and amenities are therefore completely new. The best of both worlds comes together here: the atmosphere of a house with a story spanning more than a century and the comfort of a fresh, well-thought-out interior. You can walk to both Přemysl Otakar II Square and the main train station. Inside, five apartments await you, each with its own mood – from gentle tranquility to a more pronounced evening character. Golden Balance is the warmest of them all. It's not a hotel or a guesthouse. It's a boutique place with human care, where every detail has its purpose – and where you're not just choosing a place to stay, but the atmosphere you want to be in for a while. Guest access Guests have the entire Golden Balance apartment all to themselves – the living area, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is separate and lockable, so you have complete privacy throughout your stay. Guests can also freely use the shared terrace with a separate seating area and a view of the garden, as well as the garden itself next to the house – pleasant places to sit, have a morning coffee or enjoy a moment of peace after a day in the city. The accommodation also includes a free reserved parking space on Za domem Street, approximately 250 meters from the house. Both the entrance and the apartment are keyless via a code lock. However, we always hand over the apartment in person – upon arrival, we will welcome you, show you around, and also show you the way to the parking lot, so you don't have to deal with anything yourself. We see this as a natural part of how we take care of the house: we like to know who is staying with us, and you can be sure that you will be taken care of from the very first moment. Just let us know your approximate arrival time in advance; in case we can't meet, we also have a backup solution ready for convenient entry. Other things to note Before you book with us, we'd like to tell you a few practical things in advance so you know what you're getting into. The house is located in an urban area in the center of České Budějovice, so parking is not right at the entrance. We will prepare a free reserved parking space for you on Za domem Street, approximately 250 meters on foot from the apartments. We recommend first stopping briefly at the building, unloading your luggage, and then driving to the parking space. The apartments are located on a raised ground floor – there are only a few steps to the entrance, no floors or long staircases. At the same time, thanks to the elevation, no one can see inside from the street, so you have privacy even in a ground-floor apartment. We always hand over the apartment in person – upon arrival, we will welcome you and show you how to use the keyless entry. Just let us know your approximate arrival time in advance and we'll arrange the handover. The entire house and the apartments are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed outside on the terrace or in the garden. We are a smaller boutique accommodation with a personal approach – not a hotel with a 24-hour reception. But that means we take care of each guest personally all the more, and we are available to you throughout your stay.
