Because the house is located in an urban area in the center of České Budějovice, parking is not directly at the house or directly at the entrance to the accommodation. Dedicated parking is located on Za domem Street, approximately 250 meters on foot from the apartments. We recommend first making a short stop at the house and unloading your luggage. From the outside, it retains its original character and story, but inside, it underwent a significant renovation in 2026 – the apartments and equipment are therefore completely new. The best of both worlds comes together here: the atmosphere of a house with a story spanning over a century and the comfort of a fresh, well-thought-out interior. You can walk to Přemysl Otakar II Square and the main train station. Inside, five apartments await you, each with its own vibe—from gentle tranquility to a more vibrant evening atmosphere. Comfort in Muted Tones is the quietest and most private of them. It's not a hotel or a guesthouse. It's a boutique place with human care, where every detail has a purpose – and where you're not just choosing a place to stay, but the atmosphere you want to be in for a while. Guest access GUEST ACCESS Guests have the entire Comfort in Muted Tones apartment to themselves – the living area, fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is separate and lockable, so you have complete privacy throughout your stay. Guests can also freely use the shared garden by the house – a pleasant place to sit, have morning coffee, or enjoy a moment of peace after a day in the city. The accommodation also includes a free dedicated parking space on Za domem Street, approximately 250 meters from the house. Both the entrance and the apartment are keyless, accessed via a code lock. However, we always hand over the apartment in person – upon arrival, we will welcome you, show you around, and also show you the way to the parking lot, so you don't have to deal with anything yourself. We see it as a natural part of how we take care of the house: we like to know who is staying with us, and you can be sure that you will be taken care of from the very first moment. Just let us know your approximate arrival time in advance; in case we can't meet, we also have a backup solution for a convenient check-in. The apartments are located on the raised ground floor – there are only a few steps to the entrance, no floors or long staircases. At the same time, thanks to the elevation, no one can see inside from the street, so you have privacy even in a ground-floor apartment. We always hand over the apartment in person – upon arrival, we will welcome you and guide you through the keyless entry. Just let us know your approximate arrival time in advance, and we'll arrange the handover. The entire house and the apartments are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed outside in the garden. We are a smaller boutique accommodation with a personal touch – not a hotel with a 24-hour front desk. But we take even better care of each guest personally and are available to you throughout your stay.
