Beech Cottage is centrally located in the heart of the picturesque village of Hartington, which is an ideal base from which to explore the Peak District National Park. The space The cottage is a 3 storey stone cottage, sleeping up to 7 guests. Excellently situated for couples and families to occupy. However, if groups of adults are staying it is suitable for only 5 adults, due to the number of beds in the cottage and the fact that there is only one bathroom which is on the ground floor. We we also have our adjacent sister cottage, Birch Cottage, which also sleeps up to 7 guests. The cottage is fully equipped for your stay. Kitchen: Electric hob & oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, iron/board. Lounge: flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD, log burning stove, leather settees. Bedrooms: duvets, bath/hand towels, hairdryer, travel cot & high chair. Bathroom: towels, complimentary toiletries. Exterior: private car parking space for 1 vehicle, additional cars can park on the adjacent side road, garden furniture, BBQ, secure cycle storage, external lighting. Guest access Beech Cottage has 3 bedrooms, 1 king size room, I single room, and a family room on the 2nd floor which has a double bed and 2 single beds. There is a lounge, kitchen/diner, & bathroom on the ground floor. The king size room and the single room are on the 1st floor, and the family room is on the 2nd floor. The lawn garden at the front has garden furniture and BBQ. A private off road car parking space is available for one car, with ample additional car parking available on the quiet adjacent road. Secure cycle storage is also available in a locked garage or shed. Other things to note Beech Cottage has an AA Self Catering 4*. The cottage is fully heated with electric storage heaters, and underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom. The lounge also has a welcoming log burning stove. An initial basket of logs is provided, additional logs can be purchased directly from ourselves at £5 per basket. Central heating/electric included in the rental. The rental charge is from £435.00 per week off season to £792.00 peak season. We also offer 3 night short breaks starting at £316.00 to £597.00 (not available in peak season). In Peak Seasons the changeover day is a Friday and the minimum stay is 7 nights.
