Original rough sawn floorboards and stone walls retain the buildings history and character. You’ll find basics to get you started. Tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, salt and pepper, milk, eggs, biscuits and a couple of loo rolls. (Let me know if you’d prefer plant based milk and biscuits). A log burner effect gas fire makes for cozy evenings during the winter months whilst the sunny balcony with stunning countryside views makes the most of sunny summer evenings. Guest access Leaping Hare Barn is a private self contained upper storey barn loft with its own private entrance accessed via step stone steps and self check in key. Other things to note Top Tip!! Being in an arable, rural area flies & bugs can be a nuisance. Keeping doors and windows on the south aspect closed can minimise their way in. Our pet sheep, hens and ducks may give you an early morning wake up call!! We have a no smoking policy on site. Due to our rural location mobile reception can be challenging at times and is limited to EE inside the barn (our only mast in the area) other networks are available outside. Being semi off grid our water pressure does not support a power shower. We compost most food leftovers and recycle everything. You will find a food composting container in the kitchen.
