Our open plan and spacious 72sqm Karoo styled cottages are beautifully furnished with your home from home comforts, married with luxury, attention to detail, tastefully and individually decorated with your comfort in mind overlooking the village of Prince Albert only 350m away. Our open plan and spacious 72sqm Karoo styled cottages offer large window views overlooking our natural indigenous gardens, Robert Gordon Koppie, the village of Prince Albert and the Swartberg mountains. Kanon Room: Kanon is tastefully decorated in cool shades of white and grey with beautiful double volume natural high reed ceilings and offers you a Luxurious Super King EL bed or Twin EL beds plus a Full-Size Extra Length Single bed. The fully tiled en-suite bathroom, with vanity, walk-in shower and bath for kids complete this picture as well as a comfortable standard double bed sleeper couch for families with a lot of kids. Cottage #1-Kanon and Cottage #4-Striata have a private heated Karoo styled hot tub/plunge pool. This is a small pool that is heated by a log fire that is installed in the pool itself. Stunning on a cold winters night, light the fire, wait 30 mins and enjoy. Cool off in summer, great mountain views. The water is chlorinated and is filtered daily by its own dedicated pump and filtration system. Guest access Enjoy our natural stone Plunge pool, with a lounger and umbrellas – a perfect way to end a summer’s day with your glass of vino or two. Enjoy our Boma with lovely large braai, equipped with all your firewood, firelighters, with our compliments, braai grids & utensils, & for those extra chilly nights a Mexican chiminea to huddle round, as well as 3 private braai & viewing spots, uniquely designed to blend into the natural vegetation, & really special to view our magnificent night sky to end off your Karoo day. Pick your own fresh veggies and herbs with our compliments from our organic tunnel and scented garden, as nothing beats "the fresh and fragrant" taste and smell of ‘freshly picked’ straight from the garden, also a delight for the kiddies. Outdoor areas: Each cottage has direct access into our natural indigenous gardens, allowing you to meander along clearly laid out paths whilst exploring our Koppie filled with interesting natural flora and fauna, beautiful birds, including many of God’s little creatures, which of course children just love. Our natural stone boma with a large braai area is fully equipped with braai grids, tongs, firewood and blitz, all replenished daily, so you need not bring any of these with you. There are also 3 private braai areas for those who wish to be private, which are also fully equipped. Our stone plunge pool, with a pool lounger and umbrellas, is perfect for cooling off at the end of your Karoo day.
