The cottage is newly renovated and has both a new kitchen and a new bathroom. The kitchen is open to a dining area and living area. The sofa in the living room is a sofa bed that can be made into a double bed if desired, otherwise there are 2 sleeping places in the sleeping loft above. The sleeping loft has a low ceiling height, 1.45 m as a maximum in the middle. Which allows a person of medium height to sit in bed. But you can not stand up on the sleeping loft. The size of the house makes it perfect for a couple or maybe small family, as a eg a travel cot would fit up in the sleeping loft. If the family of four is attracted to this cottage, you could have the children in the sleeping loft and the adults sleeping down on the sofa bed and thus also in the evening have access to both kitchen, TV and the lovely terrace. The cottage has a new AC installed in May 2022, for a pleasant stay in the cottage even during hot summer days. Enjoy the summer on Öland on this terrace which has got the best view from the owner's plot. Summer breakfasts or why not long warm evenings out here overlooking the Kalmar Sound. In addition to a fantastic view, this cottage also offers a perfect starting point for exploring Öland while being only 15km from Kalmar and all the city has to offer. Straight down from the cottage to the sea is Saxnäs swimming area, and there is also the campsite Kronocamping Saxnäs, which has a restaurant, ice cream kiosk, sauna, pool, workouts and much more!
