Good hotel alternative. The space A private entrance takes you into a downstairs lobby with coat hooks and shoe storage - take single flight of stairs to landing and entrance to Loft Apartment. (The key to the apartment will be left in a lockbox for you to let yourself in). Allocated parking for two cars in a paved, lit area with CCTV. Enter into spacious, bright, open-plan kitchen/living/dinning area with vaulted ceilings. Newly refurbished to bring out the best of a characterful building. U shaped kitchen with modern appliances: induction hob, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, Zip boiling water tap. Fully equipped kitchen. Essentials such as tea, Nespresso coffee machine & pods, sugar, salt, pepper will be supplied for your arrival. Kitchen bar area with two bar stools. Round adjustable dinning table with two chairs for meals/work. Double sofa area with smart TV for access to your own streaming services such as Netflix and BBC iPlayer and high speed WiFi. Modern walk-in rain shower with towels provided along with hand-soap, shampoo, conditioner & shower gel. The double bedroom also has a vaulted ceiling with king size bed and new memory foam mattress with white cotton sheets. The high arched windows give character. Separate dressing room to store clothes/suitcases etc. Washing machine & tumble drier located on the entrance landing. Plenty of room to relax or work. The location of Pease Pottage is perfect for access to the South East with trains running from Three Bridges to both London and Brighton. Gatwick is only 15mins away for pre/post holiday or work stop overs. We can give you a local taxi number if needed. Busses run locally also. The market town of Horsham and Crawley are close by along with the green spaces of St. Leonards Forest, Nymans National Trust, Wakehurst Place, Buchan Country Park, the recently reopened Leonardslee Gardens, North and South Downs and the South Coast. Food lovers will find plenty to choose from restaurants and gastropubs such as The Dragon in Colgate (2 min drive) and plenty of coffee shops such as Kaya in Horsham Park, farm shops and then there are the many local vineyards. On our doorstep are: the Black Swan Pub, M&S Food, Costa (open 24hrs), WHSmith, Greggs, West Cornwall Cornish Pasty Co & Burger King. Saturday nights we have The Wood Fired Pizza company on site in their mobile van between 5-8pm serving fantastic takeaway pizzas. Tuesday nights we have a Fish & Chip van on site in their mobile van between roughly 6-7pm. Friday mornings 9:30-12:00 we have The Larder Van with fresh local produce & coffee/hot drinks just across the road in the Black Swan carpark. The Hub Coffee shop is 5 mins walk away by Woodgate Park, it serves amazing cakes as well as breakfasts and lunches. There is also a farm style shop next door selling a wide range of basics as well as local treats.
