-Country Farm for Camping (meadow)

Beautiful and Peaceful Campsite located in a meadow next to the River Rother (Campsite 1) We have another campsite located in the Bluebell woods (campsite 2), see separate Airbnb listing to book that one. Camp fires are allowed. The space 1) Totally secluded and quiet spot located in the South Downs national park. In May 2016 the South Downs National Park became the world’s newest International Dark Sky Reserve. It is the second IDSR in England and one of only 13 in the world. 2) No traffic (human or otherwise) nearby 3) Some good exploring and tree climbing for kids 4) Wild Camping at its best 5) Disused railway line right next to the camping spot where you can walk/cycle through beautiful countryside 6) Located next to a pub which serves fantastic ales. (22 min walk, 10 min cycle ride 7) We have a portaloo on site here. 8) Great location to go exploring around West Sussex. (Midhurst, Petworth, Arundel, Goodwood, coastal towns, etc.) 9) Children 15 years and under are £10 per night. Contact me, and I can make you a special offer to update the price. 10) You can bring your own firewood for campfires, or alternatively I can deliver wood to you at £25 for 50 good size logs 11) I have some 5 Meter Bell Tents that are available for hire. I will erect the tent for you before you arrive, and will also dismantle it when you depart. The 5 meter bell tent comes with matting, rugs, fairy lighting, tea light chandelier, solar lights, air mattresses, side table and flag bunting.
