Welcome to this cozy little studio located in the Cevennes mountains, close to Mont Aigoual and L'Espérou. Surrounded by trees, the chalet offers an ideal setting for unwinding: a terrace with beautiful mountain views, an outdoor sauna, and, depending on the season, the gentle sound of the nearby stream. The space In summer and winter, the area offers many opportunities for hiking and nature activities. The Prat Peyrot ski resort is also close by; remember to check the snow conditions before your stay. You can also visit the meteorological observatory. 🏠 The property: The space is the ground floor of a two-story chalet. In the "studio" configuration, only the ground floor is accessible. The upstairs is locked during the winter. From the moment you arrive, you'll discover a warm and welcoming room, with: 🛋️ A comfortable living area 🍽️ A dining room open to the living room 🔥 a wood-burning stove to enjoy beautiful evenings by the fire 🍳 a fully equipped kitchen 🧖 Access to the outdoor sauna 🌲A terrace allowing you to fully enjoy the natural surroundings 🛏️Sleeping arrangements The living room has two large IKEA ÄLVDALEN sofa beds, each offering a sleeping area of 194 x 135 cm. The accommodation can therefore sleep up to 4 people. 🚿 Bathroom The studio has a bathroom with a large walk-in shower and toilet. Guest access 🌲 An ideal environment for recharging your batteries The chalet is surrounded by nature and serves as an excellent base for exploring the Cévennes. Many hiking trails are accessible nearby, as well as two mountain lakes. In particular, you can discover: ⛰️ Mont Aigoual and its weather observatory; 🥾 Many hiking routes; 💧 the nearby mountain lakes; 🌄 the Cirque de Navacelles, a spectacular natural site; 🎿 The Prat Peyrot resort in winter, depending on snow conditions; 🌿 The villages, markets and local producers that make the Cévennes so charming. The chalet is located at the gates of the Cévennes National Park, in a particularly well-preserved environment. 🏘️ Shops and services The village of L'Espérou is nearby. Depending on the season, you will find a few restaurants, cafes and small shops there, especially those related to mountain activities. For more shops and services, Le Vigan is accessible by car. There you will find supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, pharmacies, restaurants and other everyday services. ⚡ EV charging An EV charger is available in L'Espérou. There are also other charging stations available in Le Vigan. 🔥 Some important information The property is located in a natural, mountainous environment: access and weather conditions may vary with the seasons. The nearby stream may have very little water or be dry during the hottest periods of summer. In winter, only the ground floor is accessible. The upstairs is locked. From spring onwards, it is possible to book the entire chalet via a dedicated listing. For the Prat Peyrot ski resort, remember to check the snow conditions before your stay. 💶 Additional costs A surcharge of €10 per hour or part thereof may be charged for check-in or check-out outside the scheduled times without prior agreement. Housekeeping does not include washing dishes or cleaning the griddle or wood-burning stove when they have been used. An additional fee may be charged if these appliances are left in a condition that requires special cleaning. Any additional person present in the accommodation without prior agreement may be subject to an additional charge of €15 per person per day, applicable for the entire stay. 🔑 Guest access You have access to all open areas of the home, as well as the outdoor sauna. In the "Studio" configuration, the upper floor of the chalet is locked during the winter. From spring onwards, the cottage can also be booked in its entirety through a dedicated listing.
