Please read the ENTIRE description before booking so there aren't any surprises, especially as it pertains to host and guest areas, and the rules for visiting pets :-) Conveniently located between JMU and EMU, just steps away from The Loft at Liberty Street and the Liberty Street Mercantile, Magpie Diner and Sage Bird Ciderworks. An easy walk to the many other restaurants and shops that are shaping our little city. This is a pet friendly listing. Pet allergies would be a bad fit. The space Airbnb doesn't really have a designation in their drop down menus for this, but this is a listing for 2/3 of a single family home, with a front entrance that is only for guests. The smaller 1/3 of the house is where the host will stay, with her own entrance. Pets are allowed, but they need to be kept with you at all times. If you plan to leave them in the house while you are gone, THIS NEEDS TO BE DISCUSSED FIRST and may not be an option. IF we decide that it is appropriate for you to leave your pet unattended, your pet must be crated while you are gone. If your dog barks while crated, please plan to take them with you on all of your excursions. If you are unsure if your dog is a crate barker, be prepared to return to the house at a moments notice. If these rules are not compatible with your plans, please do not book this space. If you are bringing a pet, please add pets when you book. There is a $50 fee. During the week, this Airbnb space is a private residence. Two of the bedrooms will contain some personal belongings, but they will be out of sight and the majority of the closet and dresser space will be available for guest use. Just be aware that this will feel like you are staying in someone's home (arguably a large part of Airbnb's charm and appeal), not in a hotel. Smoking is allowed on porches but not inside. No parties and no unregistered guests. Any guests not listed on the booking will be an additional $50/night charge. We are generally a fairly quiet household overall, but "official" quiet time between 11p-9a, specifically, is expected. Guest access The guests' space consists of the front of the house on the first floor and the entirety of the second floor of the house. The wraparound porch is reserved for guests' use only (except for the occasional comings and goings through the host's entrance, on the side of the front porch) Other things to note There is only 1 bathroom in the guest portion of the house (tub/shower). There are cats and a dog living here, and while the cats are kept out of the Airbnb space, guests with cat or dog allergies would not be a good fit
