LecappyToiT Air-Conditioned Cottage

Fully renovated and air-conditioned, the Le CappyToiT cottage is a former stable for horses and cows on our property, an old family farm, located opposite the ponds, which we have completely renovated. The entry and access to the cottage are independent. The pretty village of Cappy is located on the edge of the meandering expanses of water in the Somme Valley between Albert and Péronne (about 17 km) The A1 is 8 km away, and the TGV station in Haute-Picardie is 10 km away. The bike path that connects St Valéry to Péronne is 800m away. The space Since we live on the premises, please don't hesitate to contact us! Free public parking, available day and night, is located across the street from the cottage. Upon reservation and with an additional charge, we can offer you: - On weekends, the "aperitif platter" at €15/person and a morning delivery service for croissants and fresh bread. - A covered parking space for 2 vehicles at night, from 9 PM to 8 AM, in a locked, sheltered area on our property. Our farm is also the domain of our 4 free-range dogs. Many walks and tours are available: - Cyclists and bike enthusiasts will find the bike path 800 m from the cottage - The P'tit Train de la Haute Somme runs along the canal and winds its way up Cappy Hill, - At the Cappy water sports center, “Bivouac en Somme” offers paddleboard, canoe, and pedal boat rentals, as well as various games. - At the Halte Nautique, there is also a children's playground, a fitness park, and a multi-purpose sports complex, all of which are freely accessible. - Fishing is allowed around the ponds (€10/day, arranged through the town hall's fishing wardens). - Historically, Cappy has been a village since the medieval period… The church bell tower is listed as a historic monument. The fighting in World War I partially destroyed Cappy. The Red Baron spent his last night in Cappy on April 20–21, 1918, and the Somme battlefields are nearby; Thiepval is 18 km (11 miles) away and Villers-Bretonneux is 17 km (11 miles) away. - Cappy has a restaurant, a fruit and vegetable stand, and 2 bars. - Amiens is 40 km away, and our beautiful cathedral, as well as the Hortillonnages, the Saint-Leu district, and more, will round out your other visits.
