Holiday House "Birds Home" near Edersee
Description
Our 300 year old Holiday House is close to Edersee, National Park Kellerwald/Edersee, Bad Wildungen, Fritzlar, hiking and biking paths. You would love the littel "Birds Home" because it's so cosy. You'll love the giant bed in the sleeping room "Birds Nest", the birds paintings by painter Otto Sabjan, the relaxing kitchen and the large amount of recreational opportunities nearby. It's perfectly suited to couples, adventurers and families with kids :-) The space The small half-timbered house is now almost 300 years old and is regularly renovated. It is located in the beautiful village of Anraff at the Eder and directly on the magnificent bird sanctuary between Anraff and Wega, which is home not only to many birds, some of which are rare, but also to frogs in large numbers. Frogs (Reelinge, from Röhrling) are the mascot of the friendly Anraff people. The holiday home is equipped with telephone and WLAN, parking space, sitting area in the courtyard, complete kitchen-living room, bathroom-WC with washing machine, living-bedroom with TV-SAT and the wonderful bedroom "Bird's Nest" with a huge family bed with Emma One mattresses (winner of Stiftung Warentest). There is also a cosy reading corner under the roof. The attic bedroom was lovingly designed by local painter Otto Sabjan like a sky with clouds and birds - there's no better way to sleep and wake up! Guest access There is a parking space for a car right by the house. There is the pizzeria "Mamma Rosa" in the village, which is really good and run by an Italian family. You can get milk from farmer Dietz and organic eggs from farmer Knöfel. Otherwise, there are many animals in the village and a nice playground only 200 metres away. Other things to note Airbnb does not allow to select the "living room-bedroom" option. We therefore ticked "2 bedrooms", because the living room on the middle floor is equipped with a comfortable and wide sofa bed. For children and families, we have a travel cot, a safety gate for the stairs and a high chair ;-)
