Description
Nightingale Camp is made up of a converted railway carriage living/sleeping area and a shepherds hut bathroom with a roll top tub. It is set in a private clearing on the banks of the river Coln. It has an outdoor kitchen and a private wood fired hot tub. Walks stretch out in all directions from the camp, and Fairford, Lechlade, and Clarksons Pub. Please note that the camp runs on solar power which means using 12v chargers. No availability? We have three other places - pls msg for details. The space Life at Nightingale Camp is totally private - all of the facilities are exclusively for your use and you will be sharing the space with all of the resident wildlife. Many of our guests spot Otters and Kingfishers during their stays. The camp is made up of two huts. The first is an old railway truck that was retired from the Fairford railway back in the 1960s. It now provides a cosy kingsized bed, a sofa, a dining table and a woodturner for chilly evenings. The hut is off grid so runs on solar power. The second hut is bathroom hut with a luxurious roll top bath, a loo and a sink. Outside, there is a picnic table, a campfire, and of course the gorgeous woodfired hot tub. Other things to note This is a get away from it all, off grid holiday. If you are looking for the chance to reconnect, relax and enjoy nature it is the place for you. It is a little off the beaten track so you can't drive your car right up to the camp, but the walk is definitely worth it!
