Clopton Courtyard is a series of unique barn conversions, which overlook a tranquil courtyard in the heart of the Cambridgeshire Countryside. With access to three wonderful wood burning hot tubs and gorgeous views of the countryside from the back of the property, this is a perfect place to celebrate, relax and unwind. With Cambridge just 20 minutes away by car, Clopton Courtyard provides an excellent spot from which to explore this historic city. Or walk to the pub to stay local. Sleeps 24. Clopton Courtyard is set in the midst of the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside. The six barns have been built with an eco conscience, with timber frame structures and recycled building materials. They are also fuelled by a biomass boiler using renewable energy (which keeps the underfloor heating toasty warm). Each main barn has its own unique name, character and style, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an open plan living area and kitchen. Matilda Studio offers open plan living and sleeping, while The Sheringham Hut provides a contemporary glamping space. There is also plenty of outdoor space in which to venture and relax, with lovely undisturbed views of the open countryside. You can sit and watch the horses in the livery next door or read a book in the sun trap courtyard. With Cambridge only 12 miles away (20 minute drive), it is easy access into the centre by car for those wishing to explore this historic city, whilst also looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday or work environment, or somewhere lovely to celebrate a special occasion. There is also plenty to do locally including Burwash Manor, Wimpole Hall and lots of tasty gastro pubs a drive away. With The Wood Grill Pub and Crane's cider tastings also accessible by foot along country paths. Clopton Courtyard is fully equipped for those looking for self catering accommodation but who want a little bit of extra luxury and peace. What makes this place special is the unique nature of the interiors, which have been designed to provide premium accommodation in a rural setting. Whether a bath in the bedroom, beautiful sliding barn doors, or a huge bathroom, there is something to suit everyones' tastes and requirements. Both Amba and Lily Barns have large tables and living areas for groups to congregate. Tiny House Retreats is a roving business that provides the quality spa experience, complete with highly trained therapists, in the comfort of your own barn. Everything is considered and provided to give you the experience of a traditional bricks and mortar spa; heated massage table, soft fluffy towels, warm blankets, calming music and the scent of deeply relaxing aromatherapy oils. Tiny House Retreats comes to you in a time that works with your getaway - without disruption to the relaxation you've set out to seek. From luxurious facials and refreshing mani/pedi to invigorating deep tissue and soothing aromatherapy massages, there are many choices available to enhance your stay. Our weekend stays in 2025 and 2026 are min 3 nights (Friday - Monday) for all bank holidays, between June - August, plus Christmas and NYE and min 2 nights (Friday - Sunday) for the rest of the year. Occasionally we offer 2 night stays during peak season so contact us for special rates. PARTIES Under no circumstances do we allow additional guests to use the premises beyond what is agreed on your booking. We can allow a maximum of 2 additional guests to stay; with advance agreement required. We charge £50 extra per night for each extra guest (max 2). HEN DOS We welcome respectful and considerate hen groups. STAG DOS I'm afraid we DO NOT accept stag dos. MICRO-WEDDINGS We now accept Micro-weddings of up to 30 people. A different rate will apply so please contact us for more information. We under no circumstances allow micro-weddings without advance agreement and discussion. EXTRAS TRAVEL COT If you require a travel cot, please request this with at least 1 weeks notice. We have one on the property, but it does not come as standard in each barn. PETS If you wish to bring a dog, a fee of £25 per dog applies. A maximum of 3 dogs is permitted and please confirm this when you book. No other animals are permitted. Guest access All communal areas including wood burning hot tubs, BBQ facilities, large dutch barn with picnic benches and views of the country, the courtyard and all the barns that you book. If you decide to go for a countryside walk, please ensure you stick to public footpaths only.
