This elegant vintage apartment is a great choice for couples, friends, and families. Located in the very heart of the Old Town, just opposite Hotel Royal, it combines a prestigious location with timeless character. The 48 m² apartment on the 2nd floor offers a spacious bedroom with a double bed and a single sofa, a stylish living room with a convertible sofa for two guests, a large fully equipped kitchen, and a small bathroom with a shower. The apartment once belonged to our grandfather Egon. The space This is an authentic apartment that belonged to our grandfather aka Egon. The furniture is a mix of a few antiques and some newer pieces, giving the space a unique and personal character. The apartment was refreshed in the summer of 2025. Sadly, our grandfather passed away in October, but he was a very warm and hospitable person and would certainly be happy to know that guests are enjoying time in his apartment. The apartment can accommodate up to 5 people. There is one double bed, a pull-out sofa in the living room that comfortably sleeps two adults, and an additional single sofa in the bedroom suitable for an older child or one adult. The apartment has underfloor heating, which is controlled remotely, so I will make sure it is warm and comfortable during your stay. One important tip: the apartment has a 30-liter boiler. It was more than enough for our grandfather, but with more guests (especially 4–5 people), taking showers one after another may require a little planning. We recommend taking shorter showers and allowing a bit of time in between so the water can heat up again. We hope you will enjoy your stay in this special place. Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment. There is a separate bedroom that can sleep up to three people, a living room with a pull-out sofa for two adults, and a kitchen with a dining table. The living room is an open space connected to the kitchen through a open doorway. The dining table is set up for four people. If there are five guests and you would all like to sit at the table together, you may need to bring an extra chair from another room. Overall, we recommend the apartment as most comfortable for up to two couples and one child. Children under 7 years old unfortunately are not allowed to stay in our place. Other things to note Just a reminder about the shower capacity: the apartment has a 30-liter hot water boiler. If there are more than three guests and everyone wants to shower around the same time, this may be a bit challenging. We recommend splitting showers into 2–3 rounds and keeping them fairly short. The boiler is new and heats the water quickly, but once the hot water is used up, please allow about 2 hours for it to fully heat again before the next shower. Again, we would like to underline that the place is not suitable for guests with small children.
