Egon’s Vintage Home is an authentic 48 m² apartment located on the 2nd floor of a historic building (please note: no elevator). We’ve carefully preserved its unique charm with well-maintained classic furniture, while the entire space was recently renovated to meet modern standards. It’s warm, cozy, and full of soul. 🛌 Sleeping Arrangements (Max 5 Guests) The apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people: • Master Bedroom: Features a comfortable double bed and an additional single sofa (perfect for an older child or an extra adult). • Living Room: Offers a stylish pull-out sofa that comfortably sleeps two adults, seamlessly connected to the open kitchen space. 🍳 Kitchen & Dining The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. The dining table is set for 4—if there are five of you and you would all like to sit at the table together, you may simply need to bring an extra chair from the bedroom. 🌡️ Heating & Comfort You’ll never be cold here! The apartment features underfloor heating which is controlled remotely—we will make sure it’s perfectly warm and welcoming for your arrival. 🚿 Important Note: The 30-Liter Boiler Because this is a historic building, the apartment is equipped with an eco-friendly 30-liter hot water boiler. It heats up very quickly, but it means the hot water supply is limited at one given time. If you are a group of 4–5 people, taking showers one after another will require a little planning. We highly recommend taking shorter showers and allowing a bit of time in between so the water can reheat. 📍 Location in numbers: • Old Town Square: 1-minute walk (you are literally steps away!) • Gliwice Train Station: 12-minute walk • Palmiarnia (Palm House) & Park: 10-minute walk • Silesian University of Technology: 10-minute walk • PreZero Arena Gliwice: 5-minute Uber/Bolt ride (or a pleasant 25-minute walk) Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire 48 m² apartment. You will not be sharing the space or amenities with anyone else. 🔑 Seamless Self Check-in: Access the apartment conveniently via a secure key lockbox. We will provide you with the code and clear check-in instructions shortly before your arrival, allowing you to check in smoothly and at your own pace. Other things to note 🚿 Hot Water / Boiler Reminder As mentioned in the description, the apartment features a 30-liter water boiler. It heats up very quickly, but for groups of 4–5 people, it requires a bit of planning. Short showers and 30-minute breaks between them are highly recommended! 🪜 Stairs (2nd Floor) Please note that the apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a historic building and there is no elevator. Keep this in mind if you are traveling with very heavy luggage. 🧸 Age Policy To preserve the peaceful vibe and the delicate nature of our family antiques, the space is strictly not suitable for children under 7 years old.
