Chalet Fend - Chalet Fend (dogs allowed upon request)

Our newly built (2019) vacation home (detached, with a carport and garage) is located in the district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In addition to the two large bedrooms (approx. 18 square meters), each with a large double bed, there is another bedroom with two single beds. The house has two bathrooms, one of which (approx. 10 sqm) features a corner bathtub and a very large walk-in shower (1.2 m x 1.2 m).<br/> The very bright and spacious living area (living room, dining room, and kitchen—approx. 30 sqm) is equipped with a 75-inch Smart TV. From the living area, you can access two terraces (south and west sides) (garden furniture and a grill are provided).<br/> A large carport (approx. 5 m x 3.5 m) and a very large, lockable garage (approx. 7.5 m x 3.5 m) are available exclusively for your use. <br/> You can charge your electric car at our wallbox (11 kW Type 2) (currently 40 cents/kWh). <br/> Prices include all taxes and fees (including the visitor’s tax). You will receive an electronic guest card that allows you to use bus routes to nearby attractions (Neuschwanstein Castle, Linderhof Palace, Wieskirche, Ettal Abbey, Oberammergau, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Füssen, etc.) free of charge.<br/> Public transportation is less than a 5-minute walk away. Munich is about 1.5 hours away by train. Munich Airport is about 2.5 hours away by train. Memmingen Airport is about 1.5 hours away by car.<br><br><br><br>Chalet Fend (dogs allowed upon request):<br><br>Our newly built vacation home is located in the Ammergau Alps Nature Park. In addition to the two large bedrooms (approx. 18 sqm), each with a large double bed, there is another bedroom with two single beds. The house has two bathrooms, one of which (approx. 10 sqm) features a corner bathtub and a very large walk-in shower (1.2 m x 1.2 m).<br/> The very bright and spacious living area (living, dining, and kitchen area—approx. 30 sqm) is equipped with a 75-inch Smart TV. From the living area, you can access two terraces (south and west sides) (garden furniture and a grill are provided).<br><br><br><br>On-site Costs: Payment and Cancellation Policies / House Rules: a) Payment Terms: Deposit: 30% of the rental price upon booking (payment must be received within 7 days). Final payment: 7 weeks before arrival via bank transfer. b) Cancellation Policy:- For cancellations up to 7 weeks before the scheduled arrival date, we will refund 50% of the total invoice amount. For later cancellations, we will refund 20% of the invoice amount.- We will, of course, try to rent the chalet to another party in order to keep the incurred costs as low as possible. If we are able to rent the chalet to another party, you will only be charged if the alternative rental is at a lower price. c) House Rules:- Smoking is prohibited inside the house. - No parties or events. - If you wish to bring a dog, please contact us in advance. The additional fee per dog per night is 10 EUR (not included in the price above). Other pets are not permitted or require our prior approval.- Charging electric cars is not permitted and is not included in the package price. Our electrical system is not designed for this purpose, and it could cause significant damage to the electrical wiring (fire hazard!). - The vacation home may only be occupied by the number of people listed in the rental confirmation. d) We ask that you pay the local tourist tax (currently 2.75 EUR per person per night—for guests aged 16 and older) in cash on site (not included in the total amount listed above).
