You will stay in an apartment on the third floor of our house, with total independence, a full kitchen and access to a large terrace with furniture, table, chairs and a hammock. Independence and private auxiliary exit. Upon arrival, you'll receive the keys from our hosts or a member of the house team. Feel free to send your questions directly and we will get back to you quickly. We offer weekly cleaning and optional linen washing at no cost. Other information about the Studio and services: The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware, dishes, cutlery and glasses. The kitchen sink includes a filtered water dispenser. In the bedroom we have a full size double bed (Full), with sheets, blankets and bedspread, with space for 3 people. The main bed has a twin size bed underneath. (If you come as a family group, we could accommodate the family in other private rooms within the same house). We provide travel-size personal toiletries (only upon arrival): Toilet paper, soap, toothpaste, shampoo. We offer weekly washing of sheets and towels, weekly deep cleaning. The cleaning lady usually comes on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, and we trust her completely. If you prefer that our cleaning lady does not do the weekly cleaning, please let us know. We have brooms and cleaning supplies in case you want to do your own cleaning. Privacy: There are no cameras or recording devices in any of our Airbnb spaces, nor on the terrace. From the bathroom or bedroom door you can access a large and cozy covered terrace, equipped with patio furniture, which surrounds the apartment. You can use that terrace (terrace is not for exclusive use). Adjacent to the terrace is the laundry area, where there is a washing machine, and a clothesline where you can put your clothes to dry. In cold seasons, if the clothes take a long time to dry, you can access the second floor and use our dryer. Use of washer and dryer: We accept a contribution of 15 soles per wash. (No cost after 1 month of accommodation). Portable air conditioning equipment for the summer. Space heater to keep you warm on Lima's cold and humid autumn and winter mornings. Safety: Please close the Studio door when you leave and check that the lights, TV, air conditioning, etc. are not left on. Guest access Guests have access to the studio unit, with their own set of keys. The main access is through a gated courtyard "the Quinta" (KIN-tah) our home is one of 7 townhomes in this courtyard, on a second floor. You would be staying on the rooftop level (3rd floor). Access is through a stairway from the home's back door which leads to a staircase to the roof. There is also a service/emergency alley entry way through a common service corridor, which leads from the second and third floor levels to the street level courtyard or "quinta". This provides an independent entryway if you want to avoid going through the house although you are most welcome to do so. Your space will have access to an outside patio or terrace, where we have patio furniture. Independent doorbell for the studio from the exterior fence. *COVID UPDATE* We follow mandatory quarantine guidelines. Travelers need to isolate themselves for two weeks. Other things to note Please provide your exact arrival information so we can arrange for one of us to be available and meet you at our place. Our house manager comes two times per week. . She will come into the space between 9 and 11 a.m., knock and ask for permission to clean, remove the garbage, mop the kitchen, and wash linens. Cleaning is free of cost and optional. We can provide a broom, dustpan, and cleaning items so that you can do your own cleaning, if you would like to. We do not show our spaces before your arrival. Airbnb does not work that way. Read all the detailed information and reviews. We feel more comfortable to book reservations for guests who kindly introduce themselves and let us have an idea of their background, trip purposes, etc. As a host, this is the only information I have to evaluate if I can invite somebody to our home. We reserve the right to decline to host people who will not provide adequate information or do not introduce themselves properly. No parties, no strangers should come upstairs. Please write to me with any exceptions. This is a home, not a hotel. Safety is #1 for us and for our guests. Please understand we need to know who is staying at home, we can't have an unannounced stranger walking around or sleeping under our roof with no notice. Unless specific communication and approval, nobody else should sleep at the house (additional charge applies, after proper authorization).
